Went to dinner ate outside, had the lasagna. I thought it was really good and decent amount of food. I thought it was a very friendly environment I enjoyed it. The view was peaceful. The music wasn’t loud but set a peaceful mood. Definitely going back, highly recommend. Very fair pricing for a night out

The food was delicious… 9 people in our dinner party. Each dinner entree was made from fresh ingredients and the food presentation was outstanding! Our waitress was very attentive to all our needs…. Celiacs can safely eat here… many gluten free possibilities. We will be telling all our friends about this Italian gem and will return again soon!

Portofino is outstanding! Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere is top notch! The menu had few vegetarian offerings, but the chef came my table himself to discuss how he could personalize other options per my request. This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in some time, we are fortunate to have it in the Utica area!

I ordered scallops, but the dish was very different from what was on the menu and I was charged $2 more than was listed. There were only 4 scallops, 2 decent sized and 2 smaller sized ones. I was supposed to get barley but got pasta. Was supposed to have a white wine butter sauce but got a basil/oil sauce. The meal was still tasty, but definitely not what was on the menu. The dessert was just a few small bites for $11. On the positive side, the service was great, and the atmosphere was elegant and relaxing.

Had brunch here during their soft opening. Beautiful place, wonderful wait staff. Bloody Mary was delicious and so was the eggs Benedict! Wait staff went above and beyond to set up a high chair for us to hold our car seat! Can’t wait to come back for dinner on the water!

First time visiting Portofino but definitely not the last. Not only is the location perfect for a relaxing summer meal, the food itself was great. We ordered the calamari, burrata, summer salad and steak sandwich. All were incredibly taste but the steak sandwich especially was melt in your mouth delicious. Our waiter, Jimmy, was very nice, attentive, and made our experience all that much better. We took his food recommendations and are glad we did! 10/10 will absolutely dine here again

Had a 7pm reservation and never got a table. We were begrudgingly told that for an inside table it would “a little bit”. Went to the bar to wait. After half an hour I followed up with the hostess to ask about our table. I was rudely told that “she couldn’t control when people would leave.” The manager came over and said it was our fault that we weren’t more specific on our reservation (this was not an option when booked, it has since been corrected on the reservation site) and was told I could either “wait for people to maybe leave in 10 minutes or find another place to eat at and leave.” Without waiting for a response, he walked away. The bartender who accidentally overcharged me was apologetic and fixed the issue and was the only nice staff member I encountered. I’ll never be back.
