We’re local but not one who frequents Ports of Call often. We’ve had a decent dinner prior to this last one but…wowza! The staff were a little extra extra “wired” (with exception of one hostess). Had salad (safe), daughter had the curry dish which she asked “what is this”? Husband similar response to his “fish” dish.

Could be one of the best local cocktail bars around. The bartender was very knowledgeable and knew how to make the perfect drink of choice. Food has always been on point. Reservations are highly recommended but first come first serve at the bar

Super cute spot! We got in and seated quickly, staff was very nice. Our server Olivia was incredible. Great food (amazing veggie options). We got black bean and corn empanadas plus fried green tomato (and shrimp) as appetizers. They were super accommodating for me being vegetarian and separated everything. I got the vegan masala dish with chickpeas, lots of veggies, and jasmine rice. I was so impressed. Really loved it here! Thank you!

I cannot emphasize enough the fact that our server Brittany was on absolutely point and spectacular. Personable, attentive, and receptive to all of our needs. Additionally, her peers that helped serve our table were equally attentive and kind to our folks.

We both had the grouper – one pan seared and one crispy fried. This is the place where the Katie and Josh from Sea Haven had dinner – Table 9. I like the ambiance of the restaurant which is anti-tourist, quiet, romantic, and right on the downtown strip. The menu is a little strange for coastal NC with several curry dishes and no chicken option. Recommend reading the menu before being seated. The prices are upscale but the service is not. There seemed to be a lot of newbies recently hired that did not know the menu or have any expertise in describing how the food would be prepared. For $40 to $50 a plate, I would like some explanation of why they think it is worth that. Food was good but I have had better for 1/3 the price in my home state of FL.

Absolutely amazing food all homemade and fresh caught. Unfortunately they were out of oysters and cod when we were there, but they still had cod fritters. Lunch menu was extensive and delicious and food came out quickly.

Made reservations for our Wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful experience! We had seafood chowder as an appetizer… delicious. Our entree’s were Salmon and Filet…. Both were prepared to perfection! Unfortunately we didn’t save room for dessert, but I have no doubt that it would have been wonderful, as well! Highly recommended! 🙂

This was a lovely little restaurant in Southport. The drinks were a bit expensive but they were in fact strong. Service was friendly and quick. I had the seafood curry salad and my friend had the short rib. Both were excellent. Overall, the restaurant was a great find, just a bit overpriced.

This place has really gone down hill. The food used to always be top quality and absolutely delicious. Recently however, the food has been sub-par at best while the prices have remained high. At first it was the portion sizes being smaller, now the actual quality of the food has suffered. The crab cakes are usually delicious but this last time I had to question if there was actually any crab or just filler. The cream sauce on the grits had split and you could clearly see the orange hue of fat floating atop. The croissant sandwich rolls tasted like McDonalds hamburger buns. I honestly would’ve rather have went to McDonalds for the price. Such a shame as I used to consider this my favorite restaurant ♂️
