Let me start by saying that as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by this bubbly, beautifully natured Carrie! Port of Italy was recommended to us by Dana (from Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn where we stayed while in Rockport). What a wonderful restaurant with such fantastic scenic views! The food was AMAZING ! Carrie was WONDERFUL and hilarious! Five stars all around! We will be returning anytime we are in Rockport, Maine!

What a great food experience. The olive oil infused with Kalamata Olives and balsamic was delicious on the bread. The squid ink pasta was great, and the seafood was cooked perfectly. It is a great atmosphere with wonderful views.

We were in Maine for our honeymoon and have ate at several different places. We wanted to go to a fancy place so we found Ports of Italy. We got an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a desert. It was the best, most flavorful meal we had the whole week. Most friendly service (the owner greeted and seated us, helping the servers, etc). When we got the bill we were surprised that it was also the most affordable meal we had (under $100). We came back for lunch the next day and also had a great experience. Strongly recommend this restaurant. If we go to Maine we’ll definitely be coming back here. Very pretty view. We were kinda dressed down too but it felt very welcoming and comfortable. Beautiful view as well.

I recently dined at Ports of Italy for a yearly hospitality dinner, offered by Sante, their very generous owner. The food and service were absolutely top notch, a mark they have never missed on any of my many visits. The entire staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. The presentation of the food is beautiful as is the quality, and the cocktails were amazing. We dined on the River Deck, which was the perfect setting to make it a perfect evening. It simply could not have been better, and I will certainly be back.

Fantastic! Our first visit (we’re from Belfast). Best salmon I’ve ever had. Best (roasted) asparagus dish. Bread made there and delicious. Looking out the windows you see forest and a beautiful stream. Great wait staff. Couldn’t have been a nicer experience
