My omelet wasn’t very good (bacon, mushroom, tomato) but our other omlet was pretty good (bacon and cheddar). Probably because I’m not a fan of canned mushrooms and it needed more cheese. The biscuits and gravy were okay. The home fries (fried potatoes) were delicious and the fried bologna sandwich was excellent! Orange juice and coffee were both good, too. It’s not somewhere I feel the need to experience again, though.

It’s kind of a weird place . The place looked as if it’s seen better days inside. When we walked in, noone greeted us. After a few minutes, someone finally told us to seat ourselves. The place was busy so we walked through a maze of rooms before we found a table. Because no one seated us, it took a while before the wait staff noticed we didn’t have a menu. We sat a long while after getting the menus before someone from the kitchen noticed we had been sitting for some time and our orders weren’t taken yet. They found a waitress and took our orders. The food was decent and well portioned. The price was good.

The building and surroundings were not quite as expected. However the service and food was exactly that low priced, delicious, diner nostalgia I was seeking.

I haven’t got a clue how this has so many good reviews other than perhaps price. The entire place (to include the staff) looks like 100 miles of bad road. The food is mediocre at best. Certainly would not recommend.

Stopped here during a recent road trip because it was convenient and had good reviews. I don’t know where these people, who did the reviews are eating at, because it sure wasn’t here!

Got one of the specials of the day: Beef Tri Tip with egg noodles and gravy and mashed potatoes. I got a garden side salad, green beans and a roll with butter. Good value for the amount of food you get. And nothing beats the home-cooked taste!

I had the vegetable soup. It was decent. The other two in my party had the fried chicken special. They did not finish their meal. Said it tasted like the chicken was pre-cooked. Nothing is seasoned AT ALL. Service wasn’t much better. Never offered a refill of our water. Glad we didn’t pay for a soft drink. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

My dad use to deliver bread here back in the 60’s and he loved eating here. He and my mom were divorced and she would drop us off here so my dad could have us for the weekend. We would have breakfast with him and then he would drive us back to his house in the bread truck. I still come into town about twice a year and always stop here for breakfast before getting back on the road for home. It is still my favorite place to eat with the best food and friendliest service and memories of my dad and the warm wonderful smell of his bread truck. Please don’t ever change!

I love to find a hidden gem! I loved this place! Many people will pass it up because it’s a little aged inside and out but, the food was excellent! The 5 stars is for the food, the building is more of a 3ish. When was the last time you had Johnny Marzetti? It was the special and was excellent! My wife enjoyed her French toast, my buddy said they have the best pancakes he’s ever eaten and his wife and daughter said the same about their Italian Subs. We’ll be back!
