One of the best meals Ive ever had in my life, our bartender / host Gordon was the life of the party! Food is authentic, the chef Sandro introduced himself and it was great to see his authentic Rome based dishes brought to life here in CT. The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere reminds me of high end nyc. Recommend to anyone thats in the area!

Amazing! It’s like dining in Italy next door. Very fresh, modern and pleasant atmosphere. Ambient lighting. You can see the kitchen while you’re eating which is always a nice touch. The food was absolutely delicious and of high quality! The presentation was so beautiful I had to take photos of everything. I love that their menu is simple and not overwhelming. Yet has everything you need. The waiter Patrick was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and Italian dining. Also had a pleasure of meeting and speaking with the owner Massimo which was a very nice personable touch. Can’t wait to be back to try their pizzas and branzino.

Posa is a nicely curated restaurant with good quality fresh Italian fare. The service and staff are impeccable. The dishes are quite tasty and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. I like the atmosphere both in the restaurant at the kitchen bar and the cocktail bar. Be aware that this is an expensive restaurant. They also have a pizza oven that puts out a flavorful, but undercooked pizza. They need a real pizzaiolo if they want to serve good pizza. (see my pics)

Returning to the Ridgefield Playhouse for an outdoor event in late May, “Echoes of Sinatra,” we noticed in the program a local restaurant named “Posa” was sponsoring the show and offering a free glass of wine to patrons who attended. We decided to try their Ristorante for something different than our favorite place where we prefer to dine when attending the playhouse.

Posa is nothing less than pure obsession with 1) authentic Italian cooking, 2) highest quality, and 3) service that will leave you thinking you were teleported to Italy and then back home again. The claim on their web site rings true – “…we take our time to source the best ingredients so we can craft outstanding and authentic Italian Cuisine; that means right down to the Tomatoes in our sauce and the oil in our pans”. This is simply one of the finest Italian restaurants in the area hands down.
