I ordered for pick up. The food was so good. Although the soup was a bit cold. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. Vacationing in Washington and trying places out. Potbelly was very good.

The staff here was so friendly and welcoming. A native of DC, Tyreek’s energy matched that of the bustling city around us. He and Crystal were smiling and joking and clearly enjoy interacting with the wide variety of people that come into the restaurant. oh, and that is before we even get to the food. The toasted sandwich (I had an Avo Turkey with added salami) was just the right amount of crusty crispy bread, meat, cheese, veggies, and FLAVOR. A satisfyingly good bite without being too much! I highly recommend for a good quick meal. I forgot to mention the cookie was soft and sooo fudgy. I plan to try a milkshake next time – probably tomorrow. (We completely forgot to take photos)

I ordered the Pizza sandwich on flatbread. It’s was very good. Friendly staff was very helpful and told me of all the extras I could put on it. I like the style of the place. Very clean restroom as well.

Would have given a solid 5* for the delicious sandwiches had it not been for the rudest, nastiest server I have ever come across. Sarcastic, lazy, eye rolling and slow summed her up. Management might want to have a word with her or better still, get rid, she was serving at just before 7pm.

I am super upset with this order. I spent over 300+ on sandwiches from Potbelly catering for an event and it was a huge disappointment. The bread was very dry, the meat and topics were lacking, and there were NO condiments (ESPECIALLY the Hot Peppers!!). I usually LOVE Potbelly and was excited for my favorite sandwich (highly recommend the location at Federal Center SW) but, this location’s product was inappropriately bad.

If you want to see the most miserable set of food service workers in the city, this is a good bet. Bri has an attitude that makes everyone in line feel uncomfortable from the moment you walk in. The lady in front of me tried to order a chocolate shake- that wasn’t happening for sure. Just eye rolled it off until she just stopped asking and looked around confused. Yeah, this is the worst Potbelly on the east coast I guarantee it.
