I’ve become a very frequent customer at this potbelly and I am a fan of their sandwiches and cheddar soup. Anyways, on February the 13th I ordered a veggie melt, I was really enjoying it until I saw a hair hiding between the veggies and bread… It was a dark, straight hair, definitely not mine. I needed to get this off my chest. I’ve been thinking about the hair for the past 4 days. Here’s the pic I took.

I mistakenly ordered from the Fairfax Corner location and tried to pick-up from this Potbelly. They called the other store and had my order refunded and I was able to get my food quickly and the taste was great as well. I really appreciate them going above and beyond when it’s my own fault.

Food is as expected if you haven’t had it, well, only if you need it. I had a salad, but ordering was a hassle, the salad was good but the service, not so much, they expected me to know how people order there and I had never been to their store, when I was at a downtown DC store it was a very long time ago, their method for ordering is a bit demanding, not friendly. I wouldn’t go back. I felt the employees were privately talking about me and the one person who was supposed to ask me a couple of things about my order was busy on the phone.

This location has a thief working for them. Dark skinned lady at the cashier attempted to add a 10% tip thinking I wouldn’t realize. She reached over and pressed the tip percentage herself and attempted to quickly take my payment. She 100% did it on purpose , as I stared at her she started to walk away. I told her colleague before leaving the store that this lady is stealing. Watch out when coming to this Potbelly.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! WILL GIVE YOU FOOD POISONING. Got a grilled chicken club with tomato lettuce onion. They added pickles which were strongly sour before I even took them out. 3 hours later, throwing up 12-13 times, bile too. DO NOT EAT HERE. IM SAVING YOU GUYS
