In terms of sandwich shops, I would rate Potbelly up there with Jimmy John’s and Jersey Mikes, but better than both. The subs are made fresh with generous portions of meat and cheese. The toppings are always of great quality and they add just the right amount too. I always get The Wreck, but decided to try the mac and cheese this time as well, and was very pleasantly surprised with how good it was. I’d even say it’s better than Chick-fil-A’s mac and cheese.

Potbelly was a favorite of mine in college, so I was happy to see one near my home. The first few times I ordered online and had it delivered, it was great. However, the past 3 times I’ve ordered, something has been wrong with my order. Usually, I get the same order, a tuna with extra onion, lettuce, mayo, oil, Italian herbs, and hot peppers (comes with the Swiss).

This place is a JOKE!!! Decided to try this place since the advertising showed more meat and all that. Well I ordered the BLTA and wow, 5 pieces of half burnt/half under cooked bacon, frozen onions and the kicker…”fresh sliced avocado” was maybe a teaspoon of brown mush. I ordered it to go and went with my daughter not even 4 mins down the road. When I tried to take it back, they told me there was nothing they could do because I left. I was literally gone less than 10 mins. Not enough time for “fresh sliced avocado” to turn into brown mush. You can see the pictures I took. No bacon and brown mush. The girls there acted like they could just not be bothered. I even told them when we first walked in that it was our first time there. We were ignored the first 5 minuets we stood waiting to order. We were actually walking back to the door when they stopped us. Only reason I stayed was because my daughter really wanted to try it. Not worth it. Ill never go back and I will make sure I let other people know not to go. Terrible food and even worse customer service.

Bad pickup experience. Restaurant had one other customer, also waiting,still my order took 10 min longer than quoted. Cashier Put two cold bottled beverages in the food bag with hot sandwiches and soup and acted annoyed when I asked where they were. Ordered double meat for $5 extra and it’s ONLY MEAT. Never going back.
