Be prepared to pay crazy airport prices, like $2 extra for ranch on your sandwich, but at least the food is good. I got my food fast, The dining area was nice. The soup came out extremely hot, not sure if they should check the temp first for safety. I had the broccoli cheddar soup which was ok, but way too hot.

I think this was my first time having a Potbelly sandwich and it was a great experience. They were out of their signature “wreck” sandwich so I tried their Italian on wheat. I like how they toast the sandwich first then add whatever you want on it. Not unlike other such places like Subway. Staff were friendly and though there isn’t much seating, there was plenty for the amount of people while I was there. Seems to be a favourite for the air crews too.

Good food but as a regular they’re always out of something. You can tell that the employees butt heads with each other pretty regularly. Of the times I’ve been there 2/5 times they have been disrespectful to each other. Not necessarily customers but disrespectful to each other as coworkers.

Potbelly’s was all right. I would stop in again if my gate was near but I do not think I would seek it out. Sandwich was pretty good and I got it quickly. I ordered the wreck with everything on it. It was a bit of a mess to eat, but I guess that is sort of the idea. Food tasted good and everything seemed fresh. No real complaints, but not my favorite sandwich place.

I stop in here to grab a sandwich every time I’m in Detroit because I love potbelly’s but the employees are rude, lazy and lacking serious customer service skills. I ordered a chicken club on wheat. Lady took my order and then walked away never making my sandwich. 3-4 people in line after me got their sandwiches before the gentleman adding condiments finally asked me about my sandwich. They gave me someone else original chicken cheddar on white. Because they messed up her order because she ordered a big. Even the guy behind me commented on how unpersonable the staff was. They were out of bacon, out of cookies, out of soup… it was only 12:30pm.

I fly through Detroit airport every two or three weeks and grab lunch from here fairly consistently. The staff are nice, but more often than not they run out of some ingredient. From separate experiences they’ve been out of wheat bread, turkey, avocado, and Mayo, to name a few examples. I’m pretty flexible with my sandwich toppings, but if you like your sandwich a particular way, proceed with caution.

Good sandwich shop, which we hit up during a short layover at Detroit’s airport (it was literally next to our gate). I got the meatball sub, which was a messy eat, but good. My wife had a turkey sandwich, which she enjoyed.

This place had terrible service, the staff did not work together, two particular employees were extremely rude and disrespectful. If you don’t know how to treat people or have good customer service then don’t work for a business where you have too. It’s that simple, employees wearing du rags, I’m sure this is not apart of Potbelly’s PPE requirements, nor is it in the uniform policy. I don’t know who the manager is or if it was one on duty, but this needs to be corrected, someone needs to be coached, progressive discipline, all of the above. Nobody did anything to these employees people are just trying to get food. If the shoe was on the other foot, I’m sure them employees would not appreciate the nonchalant attitude provided at this sandwich shop. I’ll never shop here again

The service was absolutely horrible. When we asked where we are supposed to order, all we got was a blank stare from the woman taking the orders. We went around to the register and asked there, and that woman pointed us back to the woman who gave us the blank stare. When we finally got around to ordering, the initial woman who makes the sandwich was very rude and then the woman doing the toppings was also rude. Zero, customer service at this location! Also, my turkey elbow has no avocado on it. That’s supposed to come on the sandwich and it is what I paid for. Absolutely ridiculous!
