I had the Chicken Club sandwich which was amazing. The bacon and the chicken was filling and super tasty. Make sure you get the italian seasoning as topping and their mustard sauce. Must have!

Intentionally misleading menu prices obscured by huge reasonable prices that actually are calories! Criminal false advertising with sadistic “customer service”!!! Iowa Attorney General will soon be all over these felons. They will be lucky to get off with a $10,000 fine. Permanently closing it down and barring all employees from ever working in Iowa would be more just, but we live in a flawed society right now that will probably look the other way, which is where the power of Customer Reviews and Consumer Protection Agencies shine their most. You have been warned!!!

Never thought before going in that I’d be getting a sandwich with bleu cheese and horseradish on it, but that’s just one of the many options that this place has.

I AM NOT A FAN OF SUBS & SANDWICH SHOPS! I AM A FAN OF POTBELLY!!! The ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER tasted. We are working @ the University and coworkers chose Potbelly Sandwich. I started to go to Blaze Pizza instead. I’m thankful I stuck with Potbelly’s. DELICIOUS ! ALL my coworkers agree that this is the BEST sub/sandwich spot we have ever eaten @. I had the flat bread chicken n cheese with bacon, mayo, olive oil and Italian seasoning toasted to perfection……….OH MY GOODNESSS!!!! 2 WORDS……SKRUMP……. SHUSH!!!!! Really nice spot. A little small so get there before the crowd. The strawberry shake was small but good and just enough. You gotta drop in whenever near Iowa State University. Oh! I almost forgot…The service was very fast and pleasant. Friendly smiling faces . Your boy The RIBOLOGIST IS OUT ✌

I ordered and recommend the “A Wreck” sandwich! The fact they have your sandwich run through a toaster oven makes it much better than the other sandwich shops. Milkshakes are very tasty too!

The food was good. At almost every sandwich restaurant I go to I get a tuna sandwich and I say this was somewhere in the middle compared to other places I’ve been. It tasted good but it was a little dry and chunky. Other than that my family thought it was good and the restaurant was clean.

The bread was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I want to go back to try the other possibilities.

Over priced mediocre food. Very little taste. Forgot my onions and the mayo was so minuscule that I couldn’t taste it. There was maybe 1/18 of a teaspoon on it. Staff were unfriendly and aggressive. It was my first time in a Potbelly store so I was trying to read the menu and they were very rude and huffy that I hesitated in ordering. The shakes are decent though. Definitely not worth coming back.

Solid sandwiches and fast service. Maybe not the best sandwich shop in town, but definitely not the worst. If you’ve got more time downtown deli or west street are better. But if you need a sandwich and have to choose between this jimmy johns or subway, I would say go here 100% of the time.
