Ordered a simple bowl of chili and requested for and paid for cheddar cheese. Received my order and didn’t receive any cheese at all. When I called to advise of my order I was told to contact door dash for refund. Wow, what great customer service for an error that was made at your own store! Now I get to eat chili without any cheese, thanks so much potbelly for the inaccurate order!

Went to get quick dinner and ordered BLTA and the bacon was raw brought it up to counter and ask is this normal for bacon to be raw and still giggling. No response I ask for new crispy bacon and they said no. I threw it out left won’t go back. Horrible service and no trained manager on duty.

I picked the Potbelly’s on Randall Rd in South Elgin to meet a friend for lunch that I haven’t seen in a while. The experience turned into the worst dining experience ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Just as we arrived, a delivered person propped the back door open to make a delivery to the restaurant. This was at 11:45 am on Friday January 7, 2022 at which time the outside air temperature was 8 degrees and there was a strong west wind blowing in the door. Within minutes my legs, feet, and hands were numb. After enduring this for about 25 minutes, we had to leave. The door was never closed during that entire 25 minute period. Also, I saw the delivery person pass through the restaurant with no mask. He was the only person besides the people eating that was not wearing a mask. I will not return to this Potbelly.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I ordered sandwiches for an event, gave them the wrong address (all my fault) and they still went out of the way to make it happen. My event was a success, the food was excellent and customer service was beyond outstanding. #1 on my list!
