I liked the atmosphere. There were 3 sandwich makers. The 1st gentleman was good. The 2nd maker lady was ok, the 3rd, the cashier was indifferent and the 2nd cashier was on her phone and didn’t engage me and my wife at all. We ordered 2 Avo Turkey sandwiches. The sandwiches were delicious. I noticed most of the tables had crumbs on them so I had to use napkins to clean a table for me and my wife to eat.

I was on the Plaza feeling a bit famished. Sans the normal disposable income I need something cheap but delicious. I walked in and was hard pressed to get help. The employee emptying the trash receptacle did not address me as I walked in and looked around. It was almost 3 full minutes before I was asked if I was ready to order.

Went on Friday afternoon for lunch and the food is great but the service was terrible. Stood in line to order once it was our turn the girl asked rudely what we wanted. No greeting, we ordered our sandwich’s and tried to place an order for the salads. She said “tell station 3”. Ok. As we moved down the line station 2 the girl was amazing once we got to station 3 which is right next to checkout we waited a good 15 minutes and I finally asked the guy if he is the one we tell what salads we want. He said no we have to let the person at stationed 1. I told him we did and she said order salads at station 3. He looked at me and walked away. About 5 minutes later he came back and asked if we were ready to cash out, as we’ve been in the same spot for 20 minutes now as our meatball sandwiches is getting cold. I said yea after we get our salads. He literally looked at me all crazy like is she serious. I told him again that we tried ordering at station 1 and she said station 3, I told him it’s not our fault the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and there is no communication within the employees. As he made our salads and really nice gentleman checked us out. Super disappointing as the only other time I was there everyone was so nice and friendly. Please fix the issue within the employees and make your restaurant enjoyable all the time.

4/5 stars, food is always good but I usually order delivery and that has been a pain. If Potbelly actually handled the deliveries themselves I’m sure it wouldn’t be as bad, but DoorDash delivers the orders placed through Potbelly’s own app and 90% of the time it’s missing something or it just doesn’t show up. TJ, Rick, and Sean have all been helpful getting orders replaced when I call in, but the weight of those failed orders falls 100% on Door Dash and not them.

I understand things happen, but the fact that my sandwich comes with mold is not ok! Of course this order was take out, so I did not see it until I got home. With only 20 minutes until they close, there was no way for me to make it there before then. I called numerous times and nobody answers the phone. I guess if you’re in the mood to spend your money on mold covered sandwiches… this might be your go to.

I love their food but damn I wish the workers cared a little more. Every single time I order from them, they mess up the order. Every single time. It’s to the point that I just might give up trying to eat/order from here again. Someone needs to start paying more attention to online orders and make sure people get what they ACTUALLY ordered, not just whatever food they want. All I wanted was some chicken pot pie soup so bad and I was sent a sugar cookie…
