2.3 ounces of chicken on a $9 basic chicken club sandwich. I was informed this is the “skinny” version. But wait, there’s more! If you upgrade to a regular sandwich, which is $13, you’ll get a whole 4.6 ounces of chicken!

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is conveniently located in the North Park area off of Blondo Street. It is a spacious restaurant with about 20 tables, and a 7 chair counter area. It is decorated in a retro hippy style. Think lots of comic sans font signs that say “Peace.” There are also some vintage photos of Omaha. I went around 11 am, and it was empty. A man was setting up his guitar for live music.

The staff are extremely friendly, greeted us as we entered, and could tell we’ve never been there. The guy explained the sandwiches and such. I got the Italian with mac and cheese and my husband got the steakhouse beef with a cup of the chicken pot pie soup. All were excellent!
