Visited China Town for a bite to eat…so many different restaurants and café to choose from, was a difficult choice but we settled on here. People were friendly we order a number of items off the menu which Lisa gave us some advice. Food was hot and plentiful. My intention was to take more pictures of the food we ordered but I forgot.

According to Liam, the employee to whom I spoke, this restaurant has a new name and owner as of September 2022. The storefront says Liaoxiang Rice Noodle. The name on the receipt reads Luckycafe, one word. The picture menu says Potluck Cafe. Food and prices are good. I got the steamed fish with black bean sauce for $7 and a plate of white rice for $2. I like the hot chili pepper sauce on the table.

Got the beef and radish Stew with white rice for $11. The portion size was a little small personally but the Stew was only $9. Flavor was really weak, like I don’t taste anything. The beef was just fat or lean meat… the radish was also not soft the way I thought it’ll be. I have to say, not the biggest fan.

Ordered a lamb noodle soup with bone broth and mild spice. Great bowl size for $12 and the lamb portion was plenty. Love the toppings as well. Not pictured is an extra soup container, hence why the bowl looks low on liquid.
