Listen…the folks at Potlucks GOTTA be breaking some sort of law because NOBODY is supposed to be throwing down like that in the kitchen! When I tell you get there now, I don’t mean next week, I don’t mean tomorrow, I mean RIGHT NOW. Go hungry, because they don’t play. I’ve gotten everything on the menu until the most recent update, so I had to kick things off by trying the chicken Philly. I don’t usual get down on chicken Philly sandwiches, but it came highly recommended by the nicest, smiling face working the front counter. PEOPLE! This sandwich is trying to hurt me. It’s trying to hurt me physically by not allowing me to breathe from not being able to stop eating AND emotionally because I know won’t be able to recreate this myself. JUICY THIN CUT CHICKEN, SEASONED PERFECTLY ON A SOFT BUN WITH PROBABLY THE BEST FRIES I’VE HAD. I’m not even smiling while writing this review.. I got a permanent frown until I can get back and try the next TOP TIER TASTINESS from Potlucks!!

Food is always fresh! Wings are good size, and packed with flavor! I have had all their sandwiches and they are worth the price! Best place to eat in Ola, especially on Sundays. I always call my order in and it is ready by the time I get there. Also business is family owned, and have a great staff.

The food was amazing! Everything tasted fresh, had good flavor, and at a great price point. Service was also amazing. The women we spoke with were friendly and the woman that packed my food told me she checked everything off on the receipt to ensure all my food was accounted for since the order was large. My family was blown away with everything we ordered. Everything was delicious but the hushpuppies were my favorite, and I would come for those alone! The only disappointment I have is the fact that I’m from out of town and I won’t be able to eat here more often! Absolutely would recommend this place and will be back next time I’m in town for sure.

First time trying this place and it was outstanding. The workers were very kind. The wait for our food was really long, but not a problem, next time we’ll just call ahead. Stumbled upon this gem by typing “wings near me” in my search engine. Voila! Potlucks Smokehouse popped up and did not disappoint. They’ve got a friend in me lol. The Philly was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and my wings were jerked like nobody’s business. A restaurant health score of 100 and friendly staff members was an added bonus. I’ll definitely return, as they have an expansive menu of items that all looked tasty.

I’ve been looking for smaller less known restaurants and hit the jackpot. The lemonade is one of a kind with different flavors like cherry, strawberry, and mango; Chick-fil-A has nothing on this place. Wings, loaded fries, sandwiches, fish, and shrimp with tons of customizable options and toppings. The food is amazing and the staff is hospitable. It’s very clean and hard to find any criticism, well there is no bathroom. I’ll definitely be coming back here more.

All around great experience! Potlucks Smokehouse is my go-to restaurant in McDonough – The staff is friendly, the food is made fresh to order, & the menu selection will have you coming back to try something new each visit. The All American, Chicken Philly, and Jerk wings are my favorite!
