Since 1978, Potomac Pizza has been one of Maryland’s most delicious and beloved family restaurant favorites! We use the freshest ingredients to create both our traditional and specialty pizzas and we offer a fun and memorable atmosphere that local residents have come to depend on. After taking over the now “Original” Potomac location in 1995, it became apparent to us that our customers loved us and that we needed to expand. We opened our Traville location in 2003 and Chevy Chase in 2006. Our College Park location opened in the Summer of 2017. Our Newest Location in Middle River will open in the Spring of 2020. We look forward to growing with the communities that we proudly serve. We could not do it without our awesome Potomac Pizza fans!

Solid Pizza / Italian restaurant chain in a casual atmosphere with many different food options to choose from. We were in the mood for pizza, and each ordered a personal margharita and personal cheese pizza. Both were tasty, yet not overwhelming. I would have liked my cheese pizza to be a bit more crunchy, but it was still fresh, and right out of the oven. We also ordered garlic knots, which were particularly good, along with a cup of tomato basil soup. The soup was also very tasty, but was really small, even for a “cup” serving. Atmosphere was clean and spacious, with a few TVs tuned in to local sporting events. Service was friendly, and our server checked in frequently to ensure that we had what we needed. Definitely recommend for a pleasant, quick, casual meal.

I am disappointed with my experience here, the place was fairly empty when we arrived, we placed our order, 2 individuals pizza, nothing crazy. Waited for almost 40 mins to get out food, in that time frame 3 different tables were filled and served their food, i saw the server avoid eye contact as she should have noticed it was taking too long, we were about to get up and leave when the pizza arrive. I would say the pizza was good but the wait and service left a lot to be desired, ohh and of top of that they got my wife’s order wrong. I would give 2 star because the pizzas had a good flavor.

Despite all the wonderful reviews this place wasn’t at all up to my expectations. My side caesar salad was good but the steak and cheese was truly a disappointment. All lettuce, tomato and onions very little meat and SO MUCH bread ! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were slightly chastised for ordering to go and sitting in their dining area which was slightly off putting and borderline rude as we made three different orders. The people here are always really nice. The food is predictable and solid, and not over priced. Small beer on draft. They have great deals throughout the week. They offer parking validation if you need it. Outdoor seating available.

I had a bus to catch and was feeling a bit hungry so I stopped in for something quick. The staff was extremely helpful and I was able to get my food and get to the stop with plenty of time left over. I probably had enough time to go back for another slice! The pizza was amazing and I liked the amount given. There was a bit of grease, but nothing some napkins won’t fix. Definitely looking forward to coming back in the future!
