My wife and I had the opportunity to eat here on our Dec trip to KC. We like to explore different places to eat that are off the beaten path. We had a wonderful dinner at Pot Pie. The servings were large and fresh. Service was great. We thought the prices were reasonable. In addition, the atmosphere and decor was comfortable and inviting. We would definitely visit there again.

A small getaway in Westport KC. Had the Steamed Mussels for an appetizer (5) Chicken & Veggie Pot Pie (5). Flavors pop right at you with the lightest flaky pie crust, which is a good thing because it will definitely fill your tummy. My table also had the Pan Roasted Chicken on a bed of Green Beans & Mash Potatoes (5). The chicken had a blast of crispy skin flavor that will keep you coming back for more. And if you can find space after all that, try the Bread Pudding (4) with a cup of their coffee (5). Awesome dinner guys keep up the good work, and we will see you in the near future!

Saw this place on the list of places from “Diners, drive ins and dives” and thought to try it since the pot pies looked so good. We arrived shortly after they opened so we were seated right away. We ordered pot pies and the butcher board. Both were fantastic. I loved the puff pastry top of the pot pies because that is how we make pot pie at home. It’s light and not as filling, so we did not leave over stuffed. The service was great and I would recommend this place to anyone that loves pot pies.

Delicious home style food that perfectly matched the intimate dining area. Their beef pot pie transported me back to eating dinner at grandmas house in the wintertime. The food tasted like my grandparents warmth and love was literally cooked directly into the filling. I was blown away at the tenderness and depth of flavor in each piece of meat. 15/10 highly recommended to anyone who loves their grandparents and wants to immerse themselves in pure nostalgia.

I have eaten here twice, and both times the food and service has been fantastic. The chicken pot pie is so delicious – the crust is what dreams are made of and the filling is the definition of comfort food. Service is prompt and courteous without being overbearing. Highly recommend!

Potpie is an excellent little restaurant with amazing food and perfect cocktails. It is small inside which really adds to the charm of the place. This was my first time eating here and is easily my top 3 favorite restaurants in the kc area. If you like comfort food paired with a cocktail then make a reservation and go, you won’t regret it!

Very cozy restaurant with excellent service and great food. We came here and tried the pot pies, but the rest of the menu looks appealing. Everything was cooked well and was delightful.

Very nice experience. Food was fantastic! We started out with a spinach & brie puff pastry. Our meals were beef pot pie and NY Strip (pictured). Both were delicious! There are also vegan options. We will return!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Extremley cosy. When the restaurant fills up it has a great tavern feel to it. It can get a little cold when the door opens but not really a major issue. The food was great and really enjoyed the butcher board and I think that was the largest pot pie i have ever seen. I really like their motto that this is not fast food but good food.

Great menu, neat location, excellent service! We had a meat/cheese board, the beef mushroom pot pie and our son had the pan grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and our server was attentive and kind. She was hustling as the place filled to capacity within a half an hour. I recommend reservations and parking on the street. The lot behind the restaurant fills and it is extremely hard to get out of.
