I was sadly underwhelmed by the Pottery World Cafe. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich. The bread was interesting. The turkey was mediocre. The cranberry and cream cheese were scant. My spinach salad wasn’t spinach. My Thai dressing wasn’t Thai. The garden salad that I was served was boring as only iceberg lettuce can be. The vinaigrette dressing had too much sugar. Apparently, some other diner got my salad. Noisy. Expensive. Alas, I won’t spend my hard earned dollars there again.

Love this place!!! Will definitely come again the next time I am in town. The staff were so friendly and amazing. The food was to die for, we could not stop talking about it. The atmosphere was adorable and so comfy, as well as the seating which had big cushion seating.

I came in here at 10:57 am to be early for the lunch service. I was with my mother and 7 m/o daughter. We were the 2nd people to arrive for lunch, were given a buzzer and told it would only be 20 minutes max before we were called to be seated. We walked around to pass the time and noticed people arriving for lunch as well but thought nothing of it. Fast forward 45 minutes later and we see other people seated and already staring to eat. I don’t want to assume but I cannot deny the fact that we were the only Hispanics there, everyone else was Caucasian. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me at all. I went up to the server at the front desk and she asked me for how many, after I explained my situation she said “oh I think maybe we can squeeze you in there somewhere” I said no thank you and decided to take my family elsewhere. This was the first time I’ve ever gone without my Caucasian husband, and the first time we were treated poorly.

Once I saw that pottery world had a restaurant, I knew I needed to go! The food was so delicious and filling with leftovers. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere is amazing because you hear the fountains when sitting outside. It was truly a wonderful time and a new breakfast spot we will definitely be returning to! Yuuuummy! 🙂
