The heart & warmth of the staff made this meal perfect! Every dish was literally amazingly — from the mango guava nonalcoholic cocktails to the crispy fried sunfish to the classic pepperoni pizza and the cheesecake dessert — all were beautifully plated & tasted fresh and delicious. The food servers were swamped but did a great job at working together to provide excellent service. This is an elegant restaurant with warm wood surroundings. Super clean restrooms. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion. We had an amazing meal that we’ll remember fondly for a long long time!

Loved eating here after our wedding. Our waitress was so nice. We decided to try 4 meals that looked interesting. The other two were ok but the pesto and macadamia crusted marlin and the fresh fish nuggets and sauce were INCREDIBLE. The marlin just fell apart in your mouth and if you got a bite with a little of the mash and a piece of mango, it was an explosion of amazingness. I had no idea I would like that combination but if I lived in Hawaii, I would eat this forever. We came back a couple days later. That dish is a must try for sure. They were so sweet and brought us a congratulations piece of cake to share too. Love this place. Expensive but worth it.

It’s the only restaurant amongst the food trucks inside the Hukilau Marketplace on the northeast side of the island. You can sit inside or in the open air patio. It offers takeout, dine in and also has a bakery. We had such a good dining experience that we went back again another day for a late lunch and also went a third time just to pick up goodies from the bakery. Hats off to our server Sheri. She was efficient and professional. Menu selection was appealing and reasonably priced. The Holy Cow pizza was great! Also a good selection of refreshing homemade island beverages (non-alcohol). In Aunt Emily’s Polynesian Bakery our favourite was the white chocolate coconut cookies. You gotta eat here!

Food was surprisingly delicious after reading all reviews! The mushroom swiss burger was amazing and juicy. My wife had a surf and turf, steak was great and tender but we did not like the fish (it was marlin that night). Crispy chicken was amazing as well. Service was really good. So we enjoyed the whole experience!

Overall pretty good food. The ahi salad was impressive, with a huge portion of tuna. Only complaint was the comically small pineapple slice on the pineapple burger. Didn’t know you could get a slice of pineapple that small

The whole family really enjoyed Pounders! It was a really nice change from eating from food trucks and standing in the rain. Our server was very nice. The food was delicious! I loved the veggie pizza and beautiful Ginger Lime Cooler I got. My spouse loved and kids loved their dinners as well. My kid especially enjoyed being able to create his own pizza. If it weren’t so expensive we would’ve gone back again and again.
