OMG I have been working down the street for years! And never stopped because of the condition of the building ♀️ Let me tell you, it’s been my loss! Co worker talked me into trying it today. AND OMG! Did I say OMG already? It was amazing! Reasonably priced. They don’t take cards. Bring cash! Trusted my co worker to take cash later Get passed the look of the building and experience some darn good BBQ Tried the sliced beef and the potato salad! Both delicious. This place is THE epitome, of down-home good bbq!!! This gentleman has been here, for over 37 years. He loves, what he does!!! An awesome war veteran, who makes great food. As I walked out, he said, “You set, man. All you got to do is eat.” I got home, and was in a bliss, for the next twenty minutes. Bbq was amazing! Beans, were on-point! Potato salad, was great!!! He’s open, for a small window, but I’ll be finding myself, to his door, on a regular basis!!! Mmhmmmmm…

This is hands down the best bbq I have eaten in a long time. Don’t let the appearance of the place keep you from eating there, it’s SO worth it. All the “regulars” that came and went all talked to us and were very friendly. I ordered ribs and sliced beef, that came with mashed potatoes, beans, and bread. I will absolutely be back to try the other types of meat we didn’t try.

Amazing food. The ribs were falling off the bone and melted in your mouth! The sliced brisket was perfectly done with a wonderful sauce that was itself an excellent blend of spices and seasonings. Some of the best BBQ in Lubbock! Don’t miss out!!!

Stopped in on a Saturday late morning. Great quality food and the price can’t be beat. $22 total for a rib plate and a 2 meat plate. Comes with beans and potato salad and 2 rolls. Highly recommend!

Loved this place. Brisket was perfectly moist with a great portion. You get a great tasting 8” smoked sausage, the ribs were awesome. Will order again. 3 hearty plates for $32 total. Cash only though so be prepared.
