Really great fine dining restaurant. Went with the Chef’s menu Wine & Dine and all the 3 courses were excellent. The service was attentive and friendly. Location is also a big plus. I only have good things to say about this place, will be going back soon.

Want to be outside around a beautiful view but hate mosquitos (there aren’t many mosquitos)? This place has a beautiful view and a toad neighbor who eats the mosquitos! Mr. Hops a lot is worth the trip by himself! The outside view is what gives this place the extra star. If you base the experience on the view, it’s unbeatable.The steaks are not what you expect at that price point. The steaks have a charred and crusty exterior with a Demi glaze and butter. However, I’m not a fan for charred exteriors. It reminds me of the forgotten burnt food laying on the bottom of your oven…. And a reminder your oven still needs to be cleaned. The potatoes were flavorful and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The fried artichokes is something different and worth trying. The service was great, upbeat and knowledgeable. I would recommend the experience and will be coming back to try other dishes. Be sure to make a reservation. It seems that this place is popular for weddings.

This was a great wine and dine experience with great views at a very reasonable price. Food was tasty and so was the wine, we had a bad experience at our last “chefs choice” adventure that cost us 3x as much money. You really can’t beat the view at this place and each course was something new and exciting exactly what a three course meal should be.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Prairie Star this past weekend and it was such a dream event!! Rebecca and the entire staff were so kind and helpful and the food was amazing! It’s such a gorgeous venue with the best views and it’ll be a day we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

Enjoyed our dinner at Prairie Star Restaurant. Smoke flavor on the beef tenderloin was incredible. While there was only a holiday prix fixe menu the night we dined there, there were plenty of offerings from the chef to satisfy any customer. Without a doubt, the crispy duck wontons just blew us away with their flavor and excellent preparation. Cannot say enough about our server, Francesca, she was helpful and kind and treated us to a beautiful dinner and recommended a tasty cabernet sauvignon to pair with our entrees. Looking forward to returning to Prairie Star soon. If you haven’t tried them lately, you are definitely missing out!
