Had reservations for 6:30. Put our order in at 6:40. Didn’t get served until after 8. This place is ridiculously slow and wasn’t even busy. The staff didn’t even check on you and when we finally got an appetizer she put it on the table and instantly turned around and ran off without asking if we needed anything else. If you want to waste your day waiting for food this is the place for you. If you want food in a timely matter you’re better off hitting up McDonald’s or the fry’n pan. Ridiculous service.

Just had a wonderful experience! My server Angela made the perfect suggestion for my meal. The service was quick. The food was prepared in perfect time, by the time the appetizers were gone the salad was right there and the main course came moments after. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends and I will definitely be back.

My visit was fabulous! My food was excellent and plenty. The service was prompt and joyful. My daughter’s nachos were over cooked but she ate what she could. That was the only thing that doesn’t rate a 5 star but all of the rest did! It was warm and peaceful back by the fireplace. A very wonderful first time being there for me! And the birthday cheesecake slice was a perfect ending! Thank you!

The food was not that good. Some of the workers was not dressed appropriately. Someone was wearing short shorts and a short top. Our waitress didn’t know the menu at all. I asked her what shrimp was on the pasta her response was “I don’t know, a little shrimp” …excuse me? me and my mom just asked her basic questions off the menu and all we got was “I don’t know.” My mom asked what type of cheese was on her baked potato because it was white cheese. The waitress didn’t know. My mom asked her to check in the back and we confirmed it was mozzarella cheese. Mozzarella on a baked potato????

First time I ate here was tonight. Had a burger, expecting an ordinary Cafe burger; the burger was way more then what I was expecting. Very good, just like a small town bar burger; which are the best. The burger was exceptional. The service was also good considering we ordered 10 minutes before closing and were still allowed to finish our burgers before leaving 10 minutes after closing

Pan fried catfish with baked potatoes and broccoli, steak with baked potatoes and asparagus. Couple of cocktails. A very enjoyable evening and first class hospitality. All this and we didn’t arrive until 45 minutes before closing on a week night. A splendid end to a long hot drive from northwestern North Dakota today. Kudos, Mr. Prante and staff.
