Cute little Italian place in Rice Village. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and to date, the BEST red sangria I’ve ever had. The sweet potato gnocchi were cooked to perfection and the halibut was moist and delicious. A must try!

We went for lunch during restaurants weeks at 1pm on a Monday and there was a lot of space available for sitting. The food we ordered was good, (not necessary amazing) but the staff was great, all of the workers had great attention to detail and were very professional, pictures: Cesar salad, vegetable soup, jalapeño fettuccini, and prego ravioli.

After reading reviews I had higher expectations for this place. We started off by asking recommendations from our server who said the calamari was their top seller and the crab cakes were not. The crab cakes were awesome and the calamari was average. Mista salad was bland, veal was chewy, and the risotto had no flavor. However the red snapper was delicious! The breading was light yet crunchy. I will be back to try a few more things on the menu before giving up or recommending to others.

Spaghetti and meatballs..WOW. My friend got the carbonara and that may have been even better. Very impressed with the quick food, constant refilling of water, and greetings from staff. Will be back for sure!

Exceptional experience at Prego! The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed their carbonara dish—it was a standout. The complimentary bread and dip were a delightful surprise that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

I had a large catering order that I picked up and spent almost $400. I forgot to ask for jalapenos so when I went back and asked for two jalapenos they came back out with two jalapenos and a check for $6 for the jalapenos. Granted this has nothing to do with the $6 but more to do with the fact that I just spent $400 and I forgot jalapenos. Just like comping someone a drink or something you could have just said yeah sure here are the jalapenos no big deal, we appreciate your business. But to bring me a bill for $6 after I just spent almost $400?! I usually leave reviews based on service and experience. Food has to be decent as well however if the service is great the food will also seem to be great. Service here was lacking tremendously. I definitely won’t be visiting this place again. #disappointment

Went there for a regular Sunday lunch. They have a light Italian music on the background. the place smells like cheese and wine. Huge wine selection to drink from. Staff were nice too. We ordered their lasagna, meatballs and chicken parmesan; were completely satisfied. Definitely will come back.

Absolutely impressed with with the food! Appetizers were great and we had no wait between switching from appetizers to our entrees. The red snapper was an absolute delight. This special dish came with penne pasta with red sauce but I substituted for the fettuccine with alfredo sauce. The best fettuccine I’ve ever had!!! They accommodated our group with a short notice in this busy holiday season. I can’t rave enough about how awesome this was!
