I have eaten at prep neighborhood kitchen three times now. It’s quickly becoming a family favorite. The menu changes all the time but it’s always pasta, pizza, salads, sides, and a few other dishes that vary. Everything is made from scratch from sauces to pasta and sourdough crust. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality, and everything I’ve tried is delicious. They do a lot of take out, but there are a few tables with a very casual atmosphere (paper napkins, no tablecloths). There is wine and beer available. The people who run the restaurant are very warm and friendly.

First off: Just go try it out, you won’t be disappointed! It was amazing! More details: This is the first time in a long time I have liked every item and haven’t been disappointed. We got the Chicken Park panini, ham and burrata panini, some pasta, fries and a side salad! It was all amazing! The flavors of the pasta were so good. Panini portions and flavor were all amazing too! We didn’t get to try the pizza but we will definitely be back.

This place is awesome and a must-try! We’ve had takeout and have dined in and both experiences were equally impressive. The ingredients are fresh and locally-sourced, and you can tell they put a lot of thought, care, and love into everything they serve. And the dine-in special is one of the best deals around! I can’t wait until they start serving lunch!

A most amazing and delicious meal! Thoughtfully prepared, seasonal, local food that was perfectly portioned for a hearty meal plus a small take home lunch. I can’t believe this is 5 min from my house and I’ve only just discovered it! Plus they had bottled cocktail mixes made by a friend of the chef/owner. And they are about to receive their liquor license. Get there!

Omg. Just stop everything youre doing and stop by this place. Hands down the best food around. We are huge fans & hope this place sticks around for the long haul! Fresh, local farm ingredients, unbelievable depth of flavor, great presentation, talented down to earth chefs. Its just so good. Only complaint is I wish they delivered as we just had a baby & would honestly order from here multiple nights per week

10/10 pizza, my favorite in Arlington! I got the margherita pizza, the mozzarella cheese, sauce, and crust all had incredible flavor. You won’t get a pizza in this style or with this taste anywhere else in Arlington. You can taste the olive oil, sea salt, and basil they put on there too. They also got amazing staff and a good drink selection. I highly recommend!

The food was excellent and the people are lovely, but this is a $35 dinner for one person. Salad & pasta (about a half of a standard single serving foil container for the pasta). We will definitely order here again, but only for special occasions when we are up to spending $100 for dinner for a family of 4.

Food and drinks are delicious and you get huge portions for the price! Loved everything we ordered and came home with leftovers. Staff is very friendly and the space is clean and casual – very relaxed environment with higher end food.

What a find! On a rainy evening, we stopped in to Prep Neighborhood Kitchen after another restaurant was full. We’re so happy we did. These folks know what they’re doing! From delicious pizza crust to fantastic seasonal vegetables, perfectly toothsome homemade pasta to tender and tasty pork shoulder, each dish was wonderful. Even more so was the welcome. We heard the story of the chef/owners and were made to feel welcome without any hovering and pushing. Don’t go expecting white tablecloths and decanters, but rather people who care about the food and wine they’re putting in front of you. We can’t wait to come back.

While the employees were friendly, the food I was served was not. I have work in many kitchens; however I would never serve the food I paid for. The chicken tenders were over cooked and a shade less then black. The Duck Fat Potatoes were once again almost black, without the taste of confit, with parmesan cheese barley on them as if they were a mistake to put it on them at all.
