We visited Preservation Biscuit Company and our savory biscuits were absolutely delicious. We got the PBC and a seasonal one. The pimento cheese and honey on the PBC was such an excellent combo. Both were great but very messy especially the one with sauce drizzled on top. Would be helpful to have napkin dispensers on each table. We were only given one prepackaged plastic silverware set with one napkin in it at first and that’s definitely not enough for these biscuits. I was a little underwhelmed with the you’re a peach biscuit. I’m not sure if it was missing the peach sauce it was supposed to come with or if it was light on sauce but if felt like it was missing something like a sauce. Overall delicious homemade biscuits and love to see a black owned business thriving.

The service and food here were so great! The menu is very reasonably priced and everything is very filling with those giant biscuits. Kids menu was great! Only $3 for mac and cheese!? What a deal! The kids biscuit meal was also great. Same sized biscuit with choice of cheese and meat, plus a side of potato wedges or sweet potato tots! Biscuits and gravy were delicious (although I can’t imagine getting the option for 2. One was perfect!). The biscuits really shine in every dish. So fluffy! The dessert biscuit with peaches, strawberries, and cream was delicious. The staff was also so attentive and kind. The perfect stop for a family after a visit to Scramble.

Very good biscuit & gravy! I haven’t had such good biscuit & gravy in a while. The biscuit was big and moist and the gravy had a generous amount of sausage. I’m looking forward to my next visit. Unfortunately the coffee was just ok.

I don’t know of a place with better biscuits in Northern VA. A little pricey, but the quality is there. I got the PBC biscuit. It was great, but totally fell apart when I tried to eat it by hand. Had to finish with a fork. I could’ve done without the mustard.

Amazing. The food is both creative and delicious paired with friendly service from the staff. Try to go there mid week if possible, maybe seats 14 people total indoors and limited parking. We went on a Monday morning at 11am and we grabbed the last table available. On the weekend (brunch time frame) often there is a line out the door.

I visited early Saturday afternoon for an Easter Eve treat, and I was rewarded for seeing what online reviews folks were writing. The friendly woman taking orders greeted me as I entered what truly looked like a community, small business. At least a dozen people came while I was there to either eat outside or takeaway. I placed my order easily for a Prime Time biscuit, sweet potato tots with pulled pork, a Strawberry Shortie biscuit, and an unsweetened iced tea. My order took 20 minutes for the biscuits and five more for the tots, assuring me of the freshness of what I was about to eat.

Excellent food quality and presentation.. The staff is wonderful and very sweet.. I enjoyed the special, The Queen, fitting name for me .. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and he doesn’t like that ever so it must be delicious.. the loaded potato wedges were good with the pulled pork.. The PBC chicken was tender and nice to have vegan/lactose free choices, however, the cheese here is a no go for us.. overall excellent food with a very high price tag.. not sure I would make it a regular stop but it’s a nice treat.. cost 65$ for 3 people to dine for breakfast plus the tip

First, everything here is delicious. From the jam to the sausage gravy. And the biscuits are so good – I cheat and buy them to use with strawberry shortcake when I need a dessert to bring to an event lol. The owner is also super community minded – they were one of the first Little City businesses that generously donated to our school auction. They’re a neighborhood gem.
