If you’ve ever heard the saying, “food for the soul”, they were referring to Press Burger. It’s the kind of place your heart wants to go to when its been having a rough day. The staff is professional and welcoming. The place is clean and organized. The menu is simple to navigate but difficult to make a decision because everything just looks way too good to pass up.

I’ve been going to Press Burger for years in New Canaan—usually ordered while on the train and picked up omw home—and most recently the new location in Wilton. Never a bad experience…. Service, food quality, etc. all exceptional.

Carrot dog was good and so was the selection of toppings, but they didn’t label which items were vegan so ordering was super difficult. The staff had no idea which sauces were vegan (I was literally told yellow mustard wasn’t vegan…) and I only learned after the fact that THE BUNS ARE NOT VEGAN. Such a disappointment since they advertise as vegan friendly, which they are not. Also, fries aren’t that great. They taste like what we used to get served in the elementary school cafeteria.

Picked up takeout this week and was very disappointed in the food quality for the price we paid. Fries were cold and stale, burger was alright but kinda thick with zero crust. This is the second time in a row I received cold food. Last time I ordered and waited and still the fries were cold.

Big fan of the burgers, fries, and milkshakes here. And so is the 6 year old who ate with me today. She gave everything a 5 out of 5 too. Love the station sauce. What even topped the food was the customer service here. Bravo.
