The Happy Wanderer
Very busy. I met some family here for dinner. We had a family member from out of town visiting! I got the blackened fish and broccoli . I also got a side of onions and bell peppers. On the menu it doesn’t say anything about them being pickled. I have cut out sugar and I was very disappointed when I took a bite. My food was great otherwise and we enjoyed a nice dinner with family.

Man, what a difference a location and better management can make!! It is night and day, the Prestons in Lexington doesn’t hold a candle to the Prestons in Leoma, knowing that I no longer have to go to the Lexington restaurant (ran by the rudest workers) is such a warm welcome!

Family style tables. Nothing fancy. Very good service and great food at fantastic prices. I ordered pecan pie, and because she felt the piece wasn’t big enough, they gave it to me; and it was the best pecan pie ever. Fried fish was perfect. Next time I head that way, it will definitely be a road stop. Wish they were closer.

Ate here with my mom one night and we both LOVED IT. We’ll definitely be coming back. The food was delicious and the staff was unbelievably kind. I can be pretty picky and was having a hard time picking what I wanted, but our waitress actually sat down and gave recommendations. She was super patient and nice. 5 star food, 5 star staff. One of my new favorite restaurants for comfort food.
