I have wanted to try this place for a long time and was so happy to see that they opened up a location in Midvale. I ordered the fried chicken sando. It was one of the juiciest chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. I loved how moist it was; however, I am not a big fan of how sweet the chicken was. It was definitely all the good things a chicken sandwich should be. A great bun, the slaw and the pickles were perfect, the juiciness of the meat, the amount of meat (it’s thick) was great, but the amount of sweetness that was added to the chicken was just a bit much for me. I do want to give it another try, but I also feel like it’s a hefty price to pay for a chicken sandwich that I hope I’ll like more the second time around. Aside from the sweetness of the chicken, everything else was superb.

Burgers are HUGE! I love the seasoning, fries are crinkle cut and the sauce is sweet & tangy which pairs well with the combo. You make your order on the pads provided to your right when you enter. Only knocked off a star because it is pricey so its not something I would have often but rather as a treat.

We walked into Pretty Bird about 6:30pm on a Wednesday, and there were a few orders ahead of us. You order on an iPad on the right side when you enter the doors. My meal was about $21 total. I got the combo that included chicken sandwich, drink and a side. Chicken sandwich was HUGE! Biggest chicken piece I have ever had. Also plus was the juice tender dark meat they used for the chicken. Hot was definitely spicy with a kick. I would get it again. Place was clean and seating was self serve as well. My order came out in less than 10 minutes, and they brought my food right to our table. Drinks are fountain that you fill yourself. Great place to meet up with friends and have a quick dinner. My purple coleslaw was frozen in the middle which made it hard to eat… I would have given this place a 5 star if my side wasn’t still frozen Over all, I would eat here again and will suggest to others to eat at Pretty Bird!

i am a spicy chicken sandwich connoisseur, and Pretty Bird is my number one spot. They’re buns, signature sauce, and pickled cabbage are really what makes their sandwich unique and top-tier. Not to mention the large piece of chicken you get with each order – no skimping here! i highly recommend this place to everyone! There is a large jump between the spice level of mild and medium, so just be aware the medium is more of a hot level in my opinion. You wont’t regret trying the sandwich! Definitely pricey (only reason i give a four-star) but i do feel it’s worth it for the spectacular flavor.
