This particular destination always held a special place in our hearts. Whenever we ventured to the mall, it became an instant favorite. However, the service we encountered today was completely amiss. There was an elderly lady who exuded an unmistakable air of discontentment. Each time we placed an order, her attitude took a turn for the worse, leaving us utterly disheartened.

Used to enjoy this place, and the pretzels are great, however, we were met by a very rude, disinterested employee today. She was sitting motionless at a table with earbuds in, and informed us that the smoothie making process was “not set up” despite being open for 40 minutes. She gave us zero emotion or explanation as I asked questions why, essentially saying it was “too early” and maybe in an hour. Unbelievable and rude. Go to paradise cafe a few steps away (SO worth the extra 20 minutes to opening time) they have much better smoothies and amazing customer service! We walked by maybe an hour later and she was still sitting in the same spot.

Used to come here everytime I was in the mall. Worst experience I’ve had deal with 2 12 year olds who apparently are inconvenienced by completing an actual order. Was told it would take 5 minutes for a drink, some pretzel dogs, and 2 cheese dip sauces. 20 minutes later of watching them stare at their phones in the back laughing and drink soda, my pretzels were done. Which I then had to remind them I got a lemonade as well. That was apparently an inconvenience. But when I asked for the dipping sauces as well, you know, cause choking down corn dogs does sound that appetizing, the little pre-pubescent red head with glasses shot the other one a look that lasted multiple seconds like I was asking for her to do something that wasn’t her job. I will encourage anyone I ever speak with again to avoid this place.

The lady working on October 3rd wasn’t very nice. Seemed like she was chatting with someone behind the counter who also said to a customer that she didn’t work there anymore. Had a long time to wait time for two drinks and two pretzel bites. It was the longest wait I’ve ever had to wait there.

We tried this eatery yesterday and really liked our pretzels and drinks. They are a different style of dough than the Annie’s pretzels. I had the cinnamon-sugar (delicious and not over sugared) while my daughter had their pretzel bites with cheddar sauce. She loved them and the cheddar sauce was a truly mild sauce without jalepeno in it. Great for kids or anyone sensitive to peppers. She also had an orange dreamsicle smoothie that was a big hit. Fast, friendly and very accommodating service. The girl working that shift was on her own, but did everything fresh and quickly. She even brought it all to us at our mall table when it was ready. The pretzels were very soft and delicious. We will definitely be eating there again 🙂

I don’t recommend you go to pretzelmaker. The employees are nice, and the service is good. However, there are flies that land on everything including the counters, food, and utensils behind where the customer can’t see. It reeks of dirty mop water, and the inside of the case is riddled with built up food particles/old crusty dough. I’m sure it is good in other locations, but not here.
