Celebrated our anniversary and was impressed by this restaurant. It was our first time trying it and was impressed with the large portion size of the appetizers. The steaks were large as well and cooked correctly. We tried the carrot cake for dessert and it was delicious. We will be back again. Call ahead for reservations.

In an effort to add to our list of fine dining restaurants that we’ve visited, we decided to visit Prime and Pearl in Gainesville, FL. Quite pricey and small portions are the phrases that I’ve chosen to begin with. I had the BBQ pork belly and Oysters Rockefeller, and my wife had the salmon with a smear of grits. We shared a delicious piece of and one of the largest slices of carrot cake that we’ve seen. I encourage you to try it out for yourself. I began with quite pricey and small portions, but I can’t help but to end with great service, and high quality and exquisite food! We will definitely visit again.

Absolutely amazing. Walked in for a table of 2 with my bf for our anniversary. They brought us to the private dinning area which is absolutely great. The waitress was so nice, she has wavy blonde hair. We tried the firecracker shrimp, and I don’t usually like shrimp, but this was so delicious. I then ordered the Pan Roasted Chicken and it was so flavorful. We also got the Lobster MacNCheese and it was very creamy and had real lobster in it. It was really good. I highly recommend this place.

My family of 7 adults and 2 kids went on Mothers Day. The staff was very nice and accommodating, changing my reservation from a family of 4 to a family of 9 with no issues. From the hostess to the waiters/waitresses everyone was so nice and friendly. I ordered the firecracker shrimp and the blackened redfish and it was AMAZING! Better than the steak! My family kept “trying my food”. The manager was walking around asking everyone how it was, he didn’t ask our table, but I wish he would’ve, I would have loved to compliment the hostess and our server.

The restaurant had an amazing selection of wines and steaks. All of the food that we had was very tasty and the staff was very knowledgeable. It was really cool to see the smoked old fashioned being made table side, and I had the prime and pearl namesake meal which was very tasty. Definitely recommend the Brussels! Wait staff did have some opportunity for improvement on communication amongst themselves and clearing glasses/items from table. We did appreciate being able to choose our knives of preference for dinner.

Some of the best steaks we’ve eaten, ever. Amazing prime cuts that are dry aged. I usually don’t order steak out as I prefer to reverse sear my steaks on a charcoal grill and sear in butter on red hot cast iron. These were surprisingly better than my usual home cooked fare. Service is top rate, to be expected at a premium establishment like this. Prices are also expectedly top tier, but the food is equally tops. It’s a large, crowded restaurant, and can get quite loud. Don’t expect an intimate experience during special occasions and university events, but the food and service more than make up for it. Parking can also get scarce during peak times at Celebration point.

Prime & Pearl is great, the food and staff are awesome! We were celebrating our 34th anniversary. Our waitress, Arielle, is hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had. She has a great personality and we she went out of her way to make our anniversary dinner special. Not only did she decorate our chocolate mousse, she wrote us a sweet note. Arielle is a great asset to Prime & Pearl! Thanks again for a wonderful dinner and experience!
