So what can I say it’s one of those places if you know someone you can get a seat. After working the Taste of Syracuse event for 2 days, almost 10 hours each day and the client wanted to reward the staff with a dinner and said we should try Prime. at the door the host told us they had no seats for our group of 6 and going to refuse us service when the client asked for Danny by name where he got us a seat immediately and we had a rather delightful meal the seafood tower was delicious and the surf and turf was on point even if I ordered it medium well. I know, don’t hate me. So lucky for us, our guy knew a guy that was the owner, or we never would have had such a yummy meal.

Get the steak with their sautéed mushrooms. The sautéed mushrooms they have are out of this world. Service is great. Ginger, the waitress, took good care, and Maggie, the bartender, paid attention to all the customers and ensured that they were looked after. Pricing is a little higher than usual for syracuse, but it’s worth it.

Up in Syracuse for the 2021 NYS Association of Fire Chiefs annual convention. Always ask the locals for recommendations of places to eat and Prime Steakhouse was suggested multiple times. Decided to give it a try. On the way asked someone outside how the place was, turned out we met Danny the owner, awsome guy. He got us a table in the bar right outside the wine vault. Such a great atmosphere here, the staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. I can personally recommend the surf and turf. Will definitely be coming back when we are back in town.

Not one to really ever write a bad review. Finally booked this place for 6 of us after been wanting to try it for a long time. For the close to 900 dollars we spent we all had a pretty lousy time. First came in, was not approached at all. 6 people standing there for 15 minutes before we walked to the bar, at the bar (not very busy) waiting with card In hand. For another 20 minutes with 6 people standing there and 2 bartenders. Finally was approached, drinks were good. Bartender did not know how to make a Tom Collins though. Finally got sat down and service was just mediocre. Slow took very long to get anything from the table after order. Wasn’t busy either. The kicker was “All steaks are prepared Pittsburg” that’s how me and my girlfriend ordered them. Both came out well done. Food other than that wasn’t terrible, but not great. It was more about the price spent for such an experience, I’ve honestly had a better steak at Texas Roadhouse…. Sad always wanted to try a true Pittsburg steak. Won’t be returning here.

My husband and I both ordered steaks that were pretty bland and came out pretty rare. Which is strange because they marked a tomato with the mid rate like I ordered and the steak was pre cut showing it was obviously still rare.

Visiting Syracuse for a convention. Prime was one of the most recommended spots to eat. We ate at one of the tables in the bar and the food and staff was excellent. Before we went in the owner introduced himself and ensured that we were taken care of. Will definitely be visiting Prime Steakhouse next time we are here.

Excellent customer service, the food was great, just the parking area were my concern because it goes by timer meter so make sure you add enough money so you don’t get a ticket. After 6pm the parking meters are free, so you can enjoy a Nice dinner.
