Primitive somehow combines the allure of a hip city coffee shop with a hometown farmers market. My favorite drink was the mocha cold brew, and I also enjoyed a delicious chicken/avocado sandwich. If that wasn’t enough, they also have a fridge stocked full of meat and eggs from their own local farm. Wish we were locals and could be regulars, but will enjoy visiting every time we are on the parkway.

Love this coffee shop, and it’s a must stop whenever I’m near Meadows of Dan. They use Red Rooster Coffee (yum), a local creamery that is out of this world (yum) and have unique tea latte drinks where you cannot go wrong! This is not a “you know what bucks” so be prepared to wait a little longer for your delicious treats to be made. But don’t worry, they have a few little retail goodies to peruse while you wait. Stopped by there today for the first time and had a hot latte and a blackberry scone both were delicious, the coffee especially so. The interior was absolutely clean, extremely well organized, and staged well. It was a place where you wanted to be to have your coffee and delicious baked snack. The staff was friendly and willing to engage in pleasant conversation. I’m definitely going to be back.

This place is so adorable! The croissants are amazing, especially the lavender and lemon. Don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations, the young lady made one for me with the chai with lavender and caramel, and it was fantastic!

Tasty bagel with cream cheese fresh bread from Willis, they have also farm fresh eggs for purchase, I tried the apple pie tea latte absolute delicious and got a mystery coffee ended up being Carmel and Vanilla very tasty. Great staff and atmosphere. Want sweets they have cookies and danishes too.

Right away I fell in love with the place because, in addition to the coffee and tea, you can pick up some pastured eggs or pastured local meat. I wish I had more space in my camper’s fridge so that I could’ve grabbed some. The staff were friendly and the coffee was excellent. The place was a real gem for me while I was passing through the area.

Very patient in recommending foods and drinks. I stopped for breakfast while I had a conference call. Croissant with egg and bacon. Warm Earl grey tea with milk and vanilla. Wasn’t too busy. However, it was steady.
