I experience good customer service during my visit; an employee is willing to be accommodating and attentive to my order, Nonna’s Veggies (without cheese). I like the Eggplant’s crispy bread texture, Broccoli Rabe is so good (on its own, in a different context), and Roasted Peppers can offer a good flavor and texture. Yet, with all these enjoyable ingredients, it’s difficult to find flavor beyond the Olive Oil which I have to let drip out into mini-puddles. Due to being on a time constraint, I don’t take an employee’s offer to remake the meal with less or no Olive Oil (thanks for offering!). The establishment takes multiple forms of payment.

There was an issue with our order. The one that was delivered by the Door Dash driver was not our order. I tried to wave him down, but he just sped off. I’ll be taking that up with Door Dash directly, as it’s through no fault of the store. I asked for, and spoke with the manager of the West Orange New Jersey store, Emon. He couldn’t have been more patient and helpful. I’m very appreciative and satisfied with how he resolved everything.

$18 for a small chicken parm and it’s not even a sandwich! It’s literally the size of my hand. That’s too high a price to pay for a chicken tender and sauce on a roll the same size as a hotdog roll … and red wine vinegar goes on subs . If the meat wasn’t thummans it would be trash. Total order was a waste because I probably wouldn’t have complained if it actually tasted good. Take it back down the shore and keep it there. Ain’t no Nona’s up here going for that and neither am I

I tried Primo for the first time after picking up a few Doordash orders there and I have to say they make a very good cold cut hoagie. I ordered the Italian primo size and it was packed with meat(fatboy approveed). Now, this isn’t your corner store bodega sandwich, so you’re going to pay for higher quality and it’s well worth it. You can taste the difference.

I thought I rated this place already, but here goes again. Giving this spot a 3.8. It’s a new spot and has potential, however, it’s the staff that’s off-putting honestly. The first time that I visited was several months ago. Had a craving for a meatball sub, sadly, it was nothing spectacular. I stopped by again recently for a cold cut sub, it was better. (Sorry, no photos) However, staff were conversing more than working.
