I always stop by whenever I’m in town. They have the best soul food around and they never disappoint. Make sure you beat the Sunday afternoon rush if you can otherwise it will be busy! Perfect for those days when I don’t wanna cook! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was my first time trying and they didn’t disappoint. The only problem that I had was it was an hour after opening and they had no turkey greens only pork . The ox tails were cooked to perfection and the pork greens tasted amazing with a little spice kick. My husband had catfish, Mac and cheese, yams and chickens wings and he loved it all. The cornbread was a little dry to his taste I didn’t try as I am gluten free. Overall a great experience and my daughter loved the greens too so that was a plus because she is picky. I will go back up try more things.

Our review is based solely on customer service at this location only. The food is EXCELLENT!!! The customer service/workers preparing the food are so UNFRIENDLY. NO ONE EVER SMILES, GREETS YOU, at all. You get the impression we are a bother when you asked a question about your food order. Please talk to this establishment. Smothered chicken was thick and cold sitting on top of some other dish I had to take it back to her N politely ask her can she put it in the microwave she’s looking at me like I’m crazy for asking. I’m looking at her while I’m passing her the plate I felt uncomfortable at that point didn’t know what to expect now that she has my food in the back I received it prayed over it and ate it. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back again.

The turkey greens, catfish,fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and Yams were delicious. The banana pudding needs work though. The food is on the expensive side. A plate is 16 to 17 dollars now. Spent 75 dollars for 3 plates smh but the food was good. A tiny cake is 5 dollars.

The food is decent but the wait time is totally disrespectful. Even when it’s not what is to be considered busy. There’s never enough food prepared and you can expect to to wait 40 min to an hour, even if you’re ordering one small sides. Also, the heat level in the restaurant is on 1000. You can literally pass out while being asked to wait until forever for 1item. Sorry but I just can’t.
