I’ve been here twice now, once for lunch buffet, and once for dinner service. Clean, modern, family-owned Indian joint. Incredible food. Even better mango lassis. A gem of a restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

I only have limited experience with this place, because I was only picking up a couple things to add to a homemade dinner. I just wanted samosas and dessert (rice pudding). 3 lamb samosas for $12 seemed a bit much, but Priya had good reviews and it was on my way there. I was very disappointed with the size of the samosas for the price. I’m used to them being about twice this size. (See picture – I don’t have very large hands). Not really enough to share. The rice pudding was good, but nothing special, and lacked flavor. The dinner guests were not impressed. I might come back, because the reviews are so good, but for first impressions, we were not impressed.

I have come to Priya for dinner a few times now for take out and for dine in. Every time I get food here, it is always delicious and I am greeted by friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this for Indian cuisine in this area!

My six year old insisted eating Indian food at the restaurant. Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to eat lunch here. My sister has ordered food from this restaurant especially biryani and it was good. Although it was always take outs, we never went inside the restaurant to eat. They serve buffet on weekends. Although this is a small restaurant, they were super busy. It was beautiful sight seeing a diverse crowd compared to Indian restaurants in Folsom. They are packed with Indian people. It’s nice to see other cultures enjoying Indian food.
