Ordered the combo enchilada and Chile Verde burrito. Disappointing pinto bean (and not refried beans) and the rice was some weird frozen Chinese fried rice that you get from Trader Joe’s. Same rice was in the burrito that others got so they were picking out edamame and green beans. Only good dish was the birria taco.

I was pleasantly surprised the tacos were pretty good. I ordered an asada, al pastor, lengua, and el gobernador. El pastor was a little bland but having actual pineapple was a plus, asada and lengua was good, el gobernador was good but at 5 bucks idk if it was better to get the simple tacos. Salsas had a little kick and free chips and salsa was a plus. 4 tacos and a drink was almost 20 bucks so a bit on the pricier side. However it is made to order so my 4 tacos took 25 mins to come out but they were well cooked.

The fries are not worth getting as they are extremely burnt, and soggy. The quesa birria tacos were okay. A bit pricy

I generally have good reviews of this place, but not today. Went there with the family and ordered two tacos for myself. Those were ok, but my wife ordered a quesadilla, which she describes as the worst one she’s had in her life. I didn’t try it, but it looked bad. It didn’t even look like a quesadilla, it had the general shape of a quesadilla but it looked almost fried. And fluffy.

I really hate to give such a bad review when location’s food looked so good, the atmosphere of the restaurant was so nice, and the service was so good, but despite all that I hated 90% of my $60 worth of food. I only forced myself to eat what I could because it was my splurge for the week.

Casual Mexican street food in Walnut. It’s located in the Stater Brothers complex by the Montessori, so there’s ample parking. Credit cards are accepted. Per other reviews, we decided to place our order online ahead of time and it took about 20 mins for the food to be prepared. There were some indoor dining (no outdoor options). There was a self-service salsa bar with four different types of salsas (avocado, habanero, red, and green) along with limes and other sides.
