Absolutely love this place! The environment is perfect my family the staff is so accommodating! The fact that there are games for kids to play allow for my wife and I to just hangout while the kids play a huge game of connect four or corn hole. Food and drinks never disappoint. This isn’t my first time here and will definitely not be my last. Compared to other restaurants in the area this place offer so much more.

Service was good, atmosphere is nice except for the fact there was 5 people there on a Friday night, should’ve been the tip off. The seasonal beer was skunked, appetizers were ok, main course absolute trash. Fish dry had no sauce, menu said beurre blanc sauce, asked for sauce got a hot garlic oil, disgusting. Steak was maybe a 4 ounce cut prior to being cooked, came out like a hockey puck. Whoever the cook is isn’t an actual chef. Place is overpriced. Now i know why it’s always empty. Drinks sure, food never!

Food was good but we waited over an hour and a half for basic appetizers. The server apologized for the wait and offered us something for the wait that we were then charged for. We didn’t even see the server for an entire hour. Not recommended until they get it together and make the service worth the expense.

I LOVE PROHIBITION! The food and drinks are delicious! The Prohibition burger was out of this world! Truffle fries were to die for, and the buttermilk fried chicken was the best I ever had! The owner, Maria Sausa, came out of the kitchen to say hello and was very attentive and charming! If you’re ever in Westwood, please stop by! You won’t be disappointed!

Ugh, this place has so much potential. It really does. Westwood is whack af. There are no lively spots in my opinion for young adults without kids, AKA me, and Prohibition could be my saving Grace. I’ve been here several times and each time service isn’t great. The menu is actually great but the food? Eh, could be a bit better. Twice I ordered the mezza platter and the harissa spiced olives and the pita and the focaccia bread were SO stale. The wings are super thin for 17? Crazy to me. Drinks, okay, I actually don’t know if they even put alcohol in it or maybe my tastebuds are burnt off because I don’t taste it at all in any of the cocktails I’ve ordered. I hate to trash a place that has so much potential for the neighborhood but I HOPE they take these reviews into consideration and make improvements. Because lord, I am bored in Westwood. I drive to Barrel & Brew in New Milford now. Great food, delicious drinks, and the music is always on point. Maybe Westwood isn’t the town for me. Sorry prohibition!! I want to love your spot so bad!!
