We asked some of the local people in Glenwood Springs where to go for a unique getaway and they said Redstone and Propaganda Pies. This is definitely a hidden gem in a tiny town of 92 people. It was a little bit of waiting to get the pies and wings but certainly well worth it. You knew that they were made from scratch and well cared for. The wings came out with a great sauce and were nice and crispy. The pizza was excellent with very fresh toppings. You could tell it was certainly made from scratch. Very filling. The location has excellent indoor and outdoor seating, and is directly in front of the river. A very awesome little stop for your adventures.

Safe to say, this is the best Pizza Place in town. It is “Detroit Style Pizza”. It is very deep dish and square. The red sauce is spicy and herb heavy. Being from the East Coast, I like my true Italian NY, Philadelphia, and Jersey Shore Style Pies, but this did the job after snowshoeing on the pass. They have a good Caesar Salad. A nice beer list. A super cool vibe. Good people working and hanging out. Stop in if you are in the area.

Alfredo pasta had no Alfredo sauce. Salad came AFTER we had eaten pizza. I get they’re busy. And kitchen guy was apologetic, but come on! Woman in charge couldn’t have cared less. Grouchy. But nice to locals. Never again. Too bad it’s the only shoe in town

We had heard of this place for years and so when we found ourselves staying a few miles away had to make it our first stop for dinner on our multi night trip. In the end we ate hear every night! The pizza is billed as Detroit style pizza and which means the crust is thick, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We had several different house pies during our stay and all of them were delicious and we’ll prepared. The interesting toppings were fresh and we’ll paired. We also enjoyed a salad each night. The salads we’re not the typical pizza joint last minute excuse where lettuce is topped with pizza toppings, but well thought out salads created with a plan for ones enjoyment. We loved the food as much as the outdoor seating where we ended each days adventure with a cold brew from the tap on the river. This is a great place to be.

My first deep dish pizza ever (have tried another later) and so far the best! Very tasty, cheesy and satisfying. I loved the crispy cheesy crust. It was so filling that I managed only half of my portion in one sitting. Still tasted amazing reheated the next day though!
