We LOVE Proposition Chicken, it’s a perfect chicken sandwich and the spicy slaw is just right. We regularly order from here even having tried other places in town. We’ve done the Fried, Grilled, and Fake chicken, all are amazing options. Even the salad is great. Local Kitchens is just such a great concept that has so many of our favorite San Francisco options in one location out here in Lafayette. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I love the format of this place.

Wow, Proposition Chicken is fantastic. Chicken is great quality, fried (or flipped!) nicely with a great blend of seasonings. The slaw is a great compliment. My hot tip for you: get the fried chicken sandwich and flipped salad and share halfsies with your partner.

The chicken sandwich was the most bland white people spicy thing I’ve ever had and this place should be ashamed to serve it. The chicken has no actual seasoning and is just a dry bland slab served with a slaw that manages to taste spicy but with no flavor. The only redeeming quality was the bread but that couldn’t carry the fact that I felt like I was just eating mushy mayonnaise. I will never understand how places can get by without any seasoning this isn’t the 50s we have more than salt and pepper use something.

Really surprised at how bad this was compared to my previous experience at the Oakland location. It was really bland, one piece was somehow so hardened and another somehow had the breading undercooked inside, the last piece was some of the driest chicken ever. Wish there was more seasoning. Biscuit was good.
