I had the Pontiff Pizza and a Caesar salad. Overall I was not very impressed and expected a little bit more. The pizza and salad both were bland and flat.. not too much flavor, though the crust was good. Also felt the service was subpar – even though it wasn’t very busy it was difficult to get attention to order more drinks or get the check. I was not very impressed by Proto’s.

Is there anything better than fresh mozzarella, thick cut tomatoes, a rich balsamic reduction, and oil? No! There’s not. I will say that if you do take out, it is tough to keep that pizza warm. Flavor is great, cheese is delish, texture of crust is crunchy but chewy… a very nice first experience with these guys!!!

Below is a picture of a medium pepperoni pizza that cost $20. If you are looking for a pizza place to satisfy your hunger, this is not the place for you. I unfortunately found Protos to be overpriced for the sparse quantity of food provided. Compared to its pizza company competitors, Protos can be summarized as simply not making the cut in price, quality, taste, and quantity. I do not recommend, and I will not be coming back.
