This was one of my favorite dining experiences yet. Every course was such a hit. The macadamia/caviar course and the uni egg were both some of my favorite dishes that I have ever eaten, I was just in heaven with every bite. I had never heard of John Dory till I dined here, it was so fun to try a new fish and I was in love with the way that they prepared it! It had such unique and delicious flavors. The chocolate dessert was so delectable and the apple one was extremely refreshing.

My wife and I went here for our third anniversary this past weekend. From the beginning, it was a magical experience we had the honor of sitting at the chef’s table and watching a bustling kitchen of focused, motivated chefs and sous-chefs prepare food until almost midnight. There are so many members that waited on us and insured that we were smiling during the entire dinner. The 8-course meal was exquisite although at least two or three other items were served. Definitely appreciate the option for a non-seafood item as part of the entree, but everything from the sashimi, oysters, lobster, to the duck, wagyu beef, and the mango dessert were succulent. Probably the best of wine I’ve had with any dinner as well. We wish we could have spent more at Providence. Please be prepared to spend at least two and a half hours to truly enjoy experience here.

Such a wonderful location. 15 delectable courses. genuine Korean cuisine. adorable owner/chef. a unique setting that makes you feel like you are in your own neighbourhood. not inexpensive. One significant drawback, though: the totally patronising personnel. Why??? We adore SF and cherish one another

By far the most lavish dining experience I’ve ever had! The service was amazing (they answered all our questions with enthusiasm) + food and presentation was outstanding. We saved up for this experience and would highly recommend this place, if the occasion ever arises.

I literally asked if the cushions provided on the bench side of the seating were for screams (of joy), or for tears (of happiness). From personal experience, they can be used for both.

A good experience of what a Michelin 2 star is like. Well worth the money.

Chef Michael is as talented as we had heard. We indulged in the lavish tasting menu and added on the caviar service, which was incredible. The blini’s were by a landslide the best I’ve ever tasted. Every single dish we tried was delicious. The bread service had the best butter, kind of grassy yet so creamy, amazing. The seafood dishes were true to the hype, prepared perfectly with a beautiful blend of flavours. The service we found to be a bit pretentious which is really unnecessary and detracted from the fun. We shared a bottle of champagne which paired nicely with each dish. Met the Chef on our way out, which delighted me to be able to compliment him. His food was worth the hefty price point. Next time we are in LA, would be an honor to return.

The finest dinner experience I’ve ever had. It offers the absolute best sea food anyone can find on the West Coast. The service is straight out of a movie, and everything is incredibly clean. They even offer you a little gift bag as a souvenir for the evening. The meal will last around three hours and take you on a ride of savors. If you have the time and money, and know you’ll be in the area, consider booking this place long in advance.

A long overdue review… we had an amazing night here with our friends. Food was stunning and presentation was fabulous. We were really lucky and got a table by the kitchen. Watching top-notch chefs cook food and prepare dishes was like watching a big show. Very memorizable. I gave four stars only because the table service could better to make our tabletop more organized.

Expensive yet impressive fine dining service that focuses on uniqueness and stunning plating. However, it nowhere felt like a two stars restaurant as the establishment is trying to squeeze every cents from the customers. absolutely terrible wine pairing at $125 and doesn’t get better until you get the premium option. the pre fix menu will not leave you full unless you’re on a calories restriction. Each additional supplement is 25-50 per person and wine pairing is extra.
