Great food and a neat atmosphere. I went for a birthday party with 30 people. The service, food and drinks were all excellent even with that many people. They had a fixed menu for us but some folks went off the menu and it was no problem. The wings were great!

The atmosphere is nice and it gives off a hometown mom and Pop vibe. the service was good and I enjoyed my time; however I ordered the Lobster, Bake Potato and I was extremely disappointed; it was a plain old bake potato with a small lobster. I will say a second visit I had the Chicken Nacos and they ever good above average but not amazing. I won’t stop just to visit 517 however if you’re in the area and looking for drinks and some food (not amazing but change of pallet) it could be worth the visit. cash only; they do have an ATM so not really an inconvenience in my opinion.

Sigh, this place. First off, cash ONLY, which is quite annoying. I so wanted this place to be really good but their food offering just falls short, they have several different kinds of steak and ribs on the menu, as well as lobster, but lack having the basics (we ordered a chicken parm that was a chicken patty with jarred sauce and a piece of provolone)

Food looks great but food has no flavor at all is unflavored food, didn’t like it. Service was good, the place looks good , clean and alot space , the patio still no open though. But tge none flavor on the food is the reason why I only give 3 starts, I won’t try it again.

This place has a lot of charm and is definitely one of a kind. Walk in on a Thursday evening and you’ll experience local charm and a bustling bar. Overall the experience here has been great- the pours are heavy and the food comes out fast. I’m only knocking one star as the food is hit or miss- some of the options are delicious (aka the boneless wings or steak) and some of them are soggy (potato skins). Ultimately will definitely be coming back and excited to continue experiencing this place. Just note that it’s CASH only but there is an ATM on site.

I was there with five others, including my mother to celebrate mother’s day over dinner. Sadly we did not have a good dining experience. In fact, it was the worst I’ve experienced. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. The drinks took a while. Our appetizers did not come until much later. One of the appetizers was wrong. We were offered bread but there wasn’t enough brought for everyone at the table and we later came to discover, we were being charged for it. After that, we waited two hours until our food finally came out. Two people never got their food so while four of us ate because we were famished at that point, the other two people with us continued to wait until they finally left. The one lady with us had plans to meet up with her mother and could not wait any longer. My time was inconvenienced as well, as I had also made plans to meet up with my son, which I did not get to do because by the time we left the restaurant, it was too late. My mother’s steak was cooked wrong and my boyfriend didn’t even want to ask the waitress for condiments because he didn’t want to have to wait any further. Not one time were we offered compensation for the inconvenience. In total, over $300 was spent. No sympathy from the waitress or offers to make anything worth all of it.

Food was delicious, pricing was a little high but the food was definitely worth it. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and funny. Would definitely go back even with the higher pricing. Very much worth the trip .
