I took my dog there and the staff and patrons were so nice when we came in! It was our first time and I wasn’t sure how to get to the outdoor patio, so I brought my dog in through the bar and she got lots of attention and love! The staff promptly filled a water bowl for her and gave her treats.

I’m not from that area but I thought I knew the area….I HAD NO IDEA THIS PLACE WAS EVEN THERE! Jumbo wings were JUMBO. They had a good variety of wing flavors. Cookie desert was phenomenal. Good wing prices. One complaint, the jalapeno popper egg rolls had a too much dough and were pricey for you what you actually get.

We’ve lived in Swissvale for 9 months and just went here for the first time. Waited way too long. The food is amazing! Love the music, too. The owner and staff were great. With being in walking distance of our home, I can see The Pub becoming part of our routine.

If you go there “during the day”, you will get excellent service. If you go there “after hours” (e.g.9:30p on a Sat) you will not get service if you sit away from the bar. After 10-15 minutes, if you ask for service, even a beer, you will be informed “The kitchen is closed” and that is all. No offer to grab a beverage, nothing.

It’s one of the best pubs I’ve ever been to in my life! My wife’s job had their holiday party there and they couldn’t have picked a better place. The owner Bill and his staff were amazing! It is a fun atmosphere with a diverse and friendly crowd. The food was quite delicious too. I live on the other side of the city from the pub, but I look forward to making it back in the future.
