We called in for breakfast. It’s quite good food, good sized portions, nice coffee. Service was friendly enough although felt a little rushed. There is live music sometimes – they were setting up as we finished.

We love Public Service! The best part is that if you’re staying at the hotel you don’t have to go far if you’re exhausted and just want delicious food.

Restaurant was empty which worried us. Good was ok until one of the dishes had a foreign object in the potatoes. We notified the server who sent over the manager. The object looked like glass. The manager returned to the table to tell us not to be worried, it was a piece of thick plastic from the bowl the potatoes were in. She did comp that meal and apologized. That started a process of having security come over and required the patron to complete a report. Oh yeah back to the food and drinks…… Nothing memorable.

Great restaurant to stop by with getting into the crowds of the French quarter. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Christian you will be extra lucky. She gave us recommendations on the city that paid off while directing us to the best items on the menu. Highly recommend the Backyard bird and the ooey gooey cake.

The food was delicious. My pork chop was cooked perfect and the sweet potatoes tasted great. My wife’s steak was a little undercooked but still tasted good. Our server was polite but didn’t seem to know much about the food being served and I found it odd that he asked how I wanted my pork cooked. Other than that our experience here was pleasant.

I tried this place out for brunch and it was pretty tasty. I’m not sure if I would go here for “vibes” (brunch should be total vibes and there were none here) but the service was great and the food was standard. Worth a try!

Great bar staff. Good food. Prices are totally reasonable. And if you stay at the NOPSI connected to the restaurant, you’ll get complimentary drink tickets. A fantastic spot in a fantastic town.

Food was amazing. They brought food to us because we wanted to eat it in the patio since we had a dog. The ribs (special of the day), ceviche, and oysters on the half she’ll were all great picks. Seems like you can’t go wrong here. Chris, our server, and the whole staff was lovely and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend to others. Plus, it’s in the NOPSI hotel which is a beautiful elegance on it’s own.

The service was courteous, the food very good. The kitchen was beyond slow. First meal took at least 15 min. my wife’s 10 min. more, inexcusable for a relatively simple breakfast.
