This is typical bar and grill, but it is very good. All these years I simply passed by but never went in, I will be going back. My only issue is that it can be a little loud and roucous at night. Seems like a bit of a neighborhood hangout with folks of all ages. I had their chicken pub sandwich with onion rings and a beer – it was very good. I should mention that their brownie Sundae is also excellent. Slightly crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Really great food! We were traveling through and were looking for a spot to eat. We all enjoyed our food and our waitress was both nice and attentive. There was live music that evening so at times it could be a bit hard to hear the other person but overall we enjoyed our food and the experience. There were some good selections of GF options on the menu, though you had to ask as they were not stated.

This is a great local pub/bar! We started with mozzarella sticks which were perfectly crispy and not oily or overdone, and their Mac and cheese was so flavorful with the types of cheeses as well as finished with a nice crumbling on top. We heard their wings were delicious, so we tried so many flavors- the teriyaki, Kevin’s wings and the spicy bbq. All of them on boneless wings and we will be back to try more of the flavors! The drinks were great and plenty of good beers on tap to try. we ended the night with a skillet cookie which was goos- but I just wish it was a little thicker. Great friendly service and staff, clean environment – can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.

The fish and chips with a nice cold Guinness were great! You definitely get more fish than breading here. Others in my group had the burgers and the buttermilk chicken and they raved about them. We will definitely return.

I don’t have the words to express my gratitude for Melissa and the rest of the Publick House team. My mom passed away unexpectedly last week and wanted an “Irish wake” celebration of life following a Mass. Although we’d only been there once before, they were my first thought. Melissa graciously accepted to host what ultimately became a rather large, deeply meaningful gathering. She was extremely kind and helpful, and the whole crew was wonderful and accommodating. They helped make a painful moment a special memory. We’ll definitely be back soon to celebrate as a family and enjoy the awesome food, fantastic drinks, and unmatched hospitality.

We go to Publick House 23 almost every Monday for trivia and always have a blast. The staff, particularly our usual waitress Alyssa, are all really sweet, helpful, and attentive even when it’s crowded. The food is great – my favorites are the truffle fries and the ice cream cookie skillet. They even make an excellent lavender-flavored mixed drink that beats out any other drink I’ve tried with lavender syrup. I highly recommend!
