Ive been up north for work lately and sunday I drove up to Redding to help a buddy cut some trees on his property from all the recent storms. After a little work, we called it, and he showed me this little gem. I was pleasantly suprised and enjoyed some really, really good food here. The atmosphere was chill mode for a sunday, the Mole was some of the best i have ever had. The staff couldn’t have treated us better! Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the Pollo a la crema, for the 100th time because it’s always delicious. I ate until I was stuffed and took the leftovers home. I weighed them at home and my “leftovers” weighed 2.8 pounds! Best food, Best value anywhere within 100 miles!

Food presentation was wonderful. The meat was cooked to perfection. Problem was the fact that it lacked flavor. The salt on the table was necessary. The food was simply missing the Mexican flavor. My family and I stopped through for dinner while returning from a vacation resort in Oregon. We are from the bay area and are used to authentic Mexican food with robust favor. However, the hostess was very polite and accommodating. Our server was excellent and made us feel welcomed comfortable and appreciated. She was ery tentative to our needs. We will definitely give this place another try based on the service and presentation alone. That lacking flavor could have been due to a particular cook working that particular night.
