Had lunch here today and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had the hamburger steak with grilled onion, mashed potatoes, green beans and toast. The meal was fantastic, but the hamburger steak was a little more lean than I like. But that certainly won’t stop me from returning.

Excellent! I can’t believe this Chicken Fried Steak! From now on, this is the Chicken Fried Steak by which all will be compared. Seriously, the steak goes all the way through, is thick, perfectly seasoned, crisp golden crust, and the mashed potatoes are from fresh mashed potatoes. This place has soul. It’s so worth the short drive!

We were there about 1pm. They didn’t hurry us at all even though they close @ 2pm. We had catfish and a chicken fried steaks. Probably the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Oh and we had onion rings for an appetizer and they were also very good.
