My wife and I visited Pump Pizza Pub for the first time on Thursday, March 30th, and let me tell you…we will be back. We seated ourselves as indicated by a sign at the door, and chose a high top in the bar area. The bartender ended up being our waitress, who did a great job keeping everyone happy.

First customers of the day! Ordered deep dish pizza with pepperoni, spicy shrimp and a mushroom & Swiss burger w/ fries. Waitress- owner (I think) recommended the shrimp, said it was her favorite! It was lightly crisp with some spicy sauce, pretty good. The burger was cooked just right. Pizza came out hot! Crust was bland, but very filling. All ingredients are definitely fresh! Also, had some pretty good drink options at full bar! Cute place!

I saw pictures of the deep dish pizza and heard enough positive reviews to try. My boyfriend and I finally made it out (we aren’t from the immediate area) and the pizza did NOT disappoint! It was delicious. How they fit that much stuff on there and the crust is still holding up?! It was lovely. We had the carnivore. Would recommend. We had a convo with a long time server and she mentioned some struggles with hiring. The person who served us was lovely and making it work considering it was his second day. We sat on the patio, there was an acoustic style artist and all together a nice vibe. We will go back because of the pizza – also the staff that was there, though under stress, was still pleasant. I come from the service industry so my instinct is to assume positive intent. I hope they are able to find the help needed and we will continue to patron the business after a good first experience.

Enjoyed this place! We heard about it from a podcast and decided to check it out! Really great pizza, delicious drinks. We had the Chicago deep dish pizza and the crust was buttery and just as good as the actual pizza. Will definitely be back again!

Got take out once and dined with a group of 16 here last night. Thought the food was great both times. Among my favorites were the Scampi deep dish, Pepperoni Deep Dish, and meatballs. The chicken francaise is also tasty. Our whole crew tried tons of other dishes and all enjoyed.

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a pizza lunch. Our table ordered the Gardeners Pie & the Boom Boom Shrimp. The shrimp appetizer was the perfect amount to hold us over until the pie was served. Gardeners Pie is delicious and filling! No room for dessert at the end of our meal and that’s ok.
