Worst experience ever, first all my family got sick, but the kicker was not being able to play the games with that being the main reason I picked this place for my son’s graduation celebration. The workers were so busy bedazzling, texting, and wanting to not work that it was palpable. The girl upstairs, where we were directed to play the games, had the worst attitude. Before we even got close she was telling us the games were closed when the server told us it was okay. She then proceeded to go downstairs and talk about us to the hostess in the front, in our face!!! Everybody seemed to have a problem with doing their job!!! I spent over $200 to get food poisoning and treated like second-class citizens. Also, there was no telling what the other 5 people in my party paid, but it was substantial. Called after I left, no answer, left a message, and received no call back. The menu had $40 for a punch bowl for 4, but I was charged $48 without a reasonable answer why. I recommend no one go here!!! I’m spreading the word that this is a horrible establishment with unconcerned, unprofessional, and unpleasant people!!! I wish I could put no stars. Ruined my son’s graduation celebration!!!

Great drinks and the bartender was excellent … can’t say as much for the food service. We ordered appetizers and dinner at the same time – huge mistake as we got both at the same time almost an hour later AFTER asking about our order. The manager came over to ask how everything was and offered a free round of drinks after we complained about the overall service, but then she never came back to follow up. Won’t go back and won’t recommend. If service this bad continues, Punch Bowl may soon be punching out …

Cool place. In the Deer District, directly across from Fiserv Forum where the Milwaukee Bucks play. Great ambience. Decent service. Fantastic food. Only disappointment was they only had one flavor of their alcohol punch bowl, so went with a strawberry daiquiri. Everything else was stellar.

I just arrived in Milwaukee for the first time and needed a place to eat. Stumbled on this place and the atmosphere seemed fun. There was a Bucks home game so the place was lively. Staff was friendly and the drinks were very good. Only big dissapointment was the food. I ordered the Bison Burger Patty Melt thinking it would be amazing. What arrived at my table was a very dry patty melt with barely any cheese and definately no melt. Burger was definately from a frozen patty and was dry. Fries were just ordinary, not bad not great.

I visited Punch Bowl Social three times, hoping eventually they’ll redeem themselves. The concept is great, but to be honest, this place needs a clean sweep. The food is terrible. The only thing I can eat is the fries. I even tried the salad, and for some reason, it taste like straight grass. The waiter/ hostess always has an attitude. This place definitely need changes.

Came for a bachelorette this weekend and we’re really surprised. Maybe it was better because everyone else was at state fair or the Brewers but we had no issues with our experience. The music is what really made it for us. Thank you for having a good atmosphere for us to have some fun!

We used to love punch bowl social before the pandemic. The food used to be amazing and the atmosphere was vibrant and fun.

Went on a night when it was not busy at all with a group of 14 that we had a reservation for. At first there were other tables seated in our area but they were finishing up as we sat down. Soon we were the only table in that section. Took a long time to get drinks ordered, took even longer for them to show up. One of the drinks was a punch bowl which almost 15 minutes later hadn’t shown up. When we asked the sever about it she explained that the punch bowl was for 8 people and took a while to make (even if it was a busy night this excuse doesn’t seem plausible), she then while walking away dropped an f-bomb (possibly an f-you) to the person asking under her breath but not sly enough since a couple of us noticed it. I felt we were very nice and patient with the wait (we weren’t in any hurry) but eventually you’ve got to ask, right? Also, it was someone’s birthday in our group and they were told to pick from a list of desserts to get one for free. The waitress though never came back, almost seemingly avoiding the birthday girl on purpose, to take the order. We gave up and got dessert somewhere else. The food was decent but the service was terrible, all 14 of us walked out and decided we’re never coming back here.

The server we had today was by far the worst I have EVER had at any restaurant. I never complain to a manager, but I had to at the end of this experience. The atmosphere seemed very cool, but then as the hostess told our server that she was seating us in her section, she rolled her eyes. When she came to the table she smelled very strongly of cigarettes. She said we couldn’t do separate checks. When she asked what we wanted for drinks, we said we were also ready to order food. She rudely said no, I’m going to get the drinks before I do a food order. We were shocked by her response, but hey, maybe she’s new and that was too hard for her so whatever, no big deal. Then she avoided us the entire time. She would not check on us AT ALL. There were two other tables that she regularly checked on, but refused to come near us or even look our way. We had to flag her down to ask for more water. Apparently, that made her mad because she slammed it on the table and walked away. She never acknowledged us again. We ended up flagging down a guy that was working to get us the check and he asked if we wanted separate checks or not. We were shocked to learn that we could do separate checks since our server had told us no. It turns out the man we flagged down was the manager. He was very nice and was more attentive than our actual server. We told him how bad our service was. He apologized and offered to comp a meal, but we said no, it wasn’t his fault or the restaurant’s fault, so we would rather just not leave the server a good tip instead. We have no clue what we did to make her so rude to us, but it ruined the experience and we will not be back.
