I’ve visited this restaurant for its sweets a few times and it wasn’t until tonight I finally made time to dine in. Parking may be limited since the restaurant is located right next to other businesses. I parked at the True Value hardware store’s lot only to realize there was parking right in front of the restaurant.

I’ve always loved there food! Delicious, flavorful and just the right spiciness. The butter chicken and channa masala with rotis are some of my favorites. One of the best places to get Indian food!

I drove all the way from Modesto to try this place out. This was my very first visit to this restaurant and I fell in love with everything about it! Extremely friendly, attentive and patient owners and staff with amazing customer service! The whole restaurant from ceiling to floor was very clean and tidy, including the restrooms. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves to eat authentic Indian food! (Late post)

We were driving on Hwy 99 and looking for indian food. Fortunately we found this place which is in Livingston, CA. We ordered Pakora, Aloo Parata, Chicken Vindaloo, Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan & Veg Biryani. I guess you can tell we were hungry. Food was typical Punjabi dhaba style and very tasty. We really enjoyed our meal here. Definitely recommend this place if you are in this area.

Food was delicious. The veg biryani and samosas both tasted very fresh. The lassi was light and refreshing. I would definitely stop by again.

Probably the worst samosas we have ever had. The shape was there but the dough was raw with 0 flavor. It tasted like they wrapped dough around a raw potato and called it a samosa. The sad part is the lady asked me if I like my samosas spicy. Then proceeded to put no spices after I said yes. My family and friends sat in dismay staring at these grapefruit sized boiled potatoes.

I came here for lunch while driving on a long trip through California. I wanted something tasty and vegetarian and Punjab Sweets and Restaurant did not disappoint. And it was a crazy good value. I ordered 3 “appetizers” or Sides and it was so much food. Enough for 2 meals for me and came in at $10. Inside dining was closed, takeout only but that was fine with me. I asked for medium spice and it was still fairly mild in my opinion. I might have been fine ordering it spicy. I would come back here if I pass through this way again and next time, I’d love to try out some of their delicious looking sweets.

There is no food like Indian food (for us Indians ). This is not a place to enjoy the ambience or service. If you like tasty Indian food, especially on your trips back and forth from the bay area, this is the place to be. We stopped at this place on our trip back from Yosemite, and we were glad we stopped. We ordered Tea, Samosa, Dahi Bhalle Chat, Masala Lassi, Tawa Rotis, Goat Curry, Bhindi Masala, Kadi Pakoda, Mushroom Do Pyaza. Every thing was very tasty and satiating. Must stop folks!.
